December 20, 20232 yr By the way, do any of you guys remember the HNAC A300 for FS9? This was one of the first aircraft I ever flew and I think it has contributed to my becoming loyal to this hobby for so many years. So even though the A300 is not widely used anymore, it still has a special place for me. And I am sure this bird for a long time to come.

This problem is now solved in the oncoming iniBulds A300 and I can´t wait for the first flight with it. The A310 was built by inibuilds too! But they are getting much better by the looks of things. Very exciting times indeed.

Yes it has been updated. There's also an enhanced version (free) available in the Marketplace or Content Manager. I've been flying the A310 a lot lately, to practice up for the A300. I find the 310 doing everything I expect it to do. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
December 20, 20232 yr With the A310 and A320 ini couldn't realistically pull out all the stops given those are MS/Asobo funded default aircraft meant to be provided for free to users (but still they did an admirable job on those with great fidelity). Definitely looking like we're going to get higher systems fidelity in the A300 (vs A310) given it's their first payware airliner, and likely a more refined CFD-based FM compared to the A310. Just as with other devs, their aircraft are bound to get more refined as they get more knowledgeable and comfortable about developing on the MSFS platform. Would be interesting to hear from those who've used the A300 in XP as to what kind of fidelity it had (and also compare once released), since ini are aiming to do more/better with this MSFS version per what they've said before. December 20, 20232 yr IIRC the A310 was announced as payware, but then Microsoft bought it off them for the 40th Anniversary Edited December 20, 20232 yr by Tuskin38
December 20, 20232 yr @lwt1971 since the A300-600R is described as iniBuilds "flagship" model for XPlane, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume it is pretty high-fidelity in XP. Because of that, I think it will on the higher side of fidelity in MSFS as well. Based on the feature-set and images I've seen so far, it already is going to be higher-fidelity than the A310, Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
December 21, 20232 yr There's a bug with a310 when all systems suddenly freeze mid flight at random and cannot be interacted with again. It has been mentioned several times on their forums (by me aswell, I even found a reliable way of replicate the bug on my system) but it has never been addressed. Wonder if the a300 will have the same problem

Based on the feature-set and images I've seen so far, it already is going to be higher-fidelity than the A310, @lwt1971 It was very good in XP11. Deep systems, things worked as expected. It's got some bugs in XP12, and it's seems clear to me that it's not a priority for them anymore, understandably given their commitment to and much larger return from MSFS products. I honestly didn't expect them to make it compatible with 12 at all. I loved flying it in XP11, same with the 310 and Beluga, and if it's as good or better than it was in XP11 I think it'll be a great aircraft that most are happy with in MSFS. December 23, 20232 yr iniBuilds wrote "I hope you are as excited for our A300-600 and our plans for 2024" (after announcing the A350 project today) so that means the A300 will not release tomorrow on Christmas day, but probably some day next week.
