  • You can try this fix as a test... Go to your Official folder and locate Official\OneStore\workingtitle-instruments-garmin-gns\html_ui\Pages\VCockpit\Instruments\NavSystems\GPS\WT530 In this

  • I know, but with a nagging wife, and a five year old always wanting my attention, I like to save some time.. 🙂

  • I came here because I cant figure it out if its possible. Did a google search on it but couldnt find anything, only saw youtubers doing it manually…. Is it illegal to ask for help or something?….

I still suck at using the 750. I have no issue with the flight plan but not sure about plan mode to view, activating the approach is not working quite right. The approach itself is fine but getting to the IAP is weird. Is there a really good YouTube video on key features?

I wrote a response but it's gone.  Can you tell me which approach and what fix you want to arrive at?  And which direction are you arriving from?

Also A330 driver does a nice video with the king air and TDS.  I think he loads an approach about 30 min in or so

Ah, thanks, guess its manual until bug fixed, thank you Bert and Ryan. Case closed:p

There is a workaround listed on the forum, if you are willing to edit some WT GNS code..

I did just that and it cleaned up things for me.

Here is the Simbrief flightplan:   LIRN/06 N0305F260 GALT7G GALTI M742 LUXIL L995 ROBOT  LIBR/13

Passing ROBOT I wanted to proceed to BR514 on the RNP Rwy 13 approach at LIBR.

BR514 was the first waypoint on the approach listed in the 750 GPS.  Passing ROBOT I pressed "Activate the approach" thinking it would go right to BR514 but instead itseemed to take me direct to the runway threshold.  I eventually intervened, turned off the A/P and landed manually as it was a VFR day.

If that's an RNP-AR approach the gtn won't fly it.  I'll look on my navigraph charts to see what it is exactly.

Well that could be the problem.

Actually I just looked and it's not an AR - so it should fly it - can you attach a screenshot of the gtn trainer or the gtn inside of flightsim?  With the approach loaded as you approach ROBOT?  Does it allow you to select the IAF GODUB at all?

No Godub was not available.

Can you show me the FPL screen once you activate the approach?  I need to see what the GTNxi loaded.

There's a good chance the navdata is out of date or the approach waypoint structure changed.

You can try this fix as a test... Go to your Official folder and locate

Official\OneStore\workingtitle-instruments-garmin-gns\html_ui\Pages\VCockpit\Instruments\NavSystems\GPS\WT530

In this folder, rename the WT530B.js file and unzip this one as a replacement:

Here is the trainer screenshot of the FP (last waypoint only) and then activating the approach.

It looks like it shows going to the BR516 but the aircraft was not actually going there.

Perhaps I'm missing something but since you actually own this aircraft isn't this something you can find out for yourself now?

Such a poor response

I think that is the way to do it.  Will try again.
