Unable to Eliminate Simconnect Error

I have installed and uninstalled several times the app.  After the sim loads, the "Connection Status" always displays "RED" for a simconnect issue.  I have checked the documentation and there is ony 1 Mobi.. module; the C++ 2015 redistribution is installed.  I've also excluded the msfs2020 autofps folder/directory.  The error log is--

--The offending .dll is present in the .bin directory--I appreciate your help--Thanks

P.S. The app never closes following the shutdown of the sim!

Could be a permissions issue. Try installing and running the app as admin.

I reinstalled and ran the APP (Admin permissions) and, unfortunately, the same results occurred.  The log files contained the same error message --can't find ...simconnect.dll--Very strange!  Any other suggestions would be appreciated--Thanks

Sounds like the AutoFPS install is not finding your MSFS installed location.

Could be but with all the other apps it seems to be OK.  I've gone through all the security settings, permissions, allowed app settings, and still the same result--The only difference between the server computer (cockpit display) and this one (scenery display) is that this is a new Win 11 install--however I've validated the settings with those on the server computer--

I'm currently using the latest AutoFPS app but haven't updated my .dll files lately. What's the latest one for RTX 3090 users?

The latest AutoFPS version is 0.4.2.16 and works with any video card. The app tells you on start up in the status line mid window whether you are on the latest version or not.

This shouldn't normally happen but, as suggested above, you can manually put the latest Mobiflight WASM in your community folder and then try again. If that doesn't work, try running the installer as admin.

I was referring to the .dll files that it needs.

In order to use this app we need to install 2 .dll files to enable FG on RTX 3090 cards if I can recall. I was just wondering if we need to update those dll files to their latest versions to get the most from this app?

Ah, now I get you. I do not use FG myself so can't help you with specific information but, from what other users have told me, I can say that the app should work with any type of FG, old and new. It is generally best practice to be running the latest version of any such supporting software, but that's more for your MSFS experience and is not a necessity for AutoFPS to do what it does.

I’m pretty sure updated DLSS .dll files (which I think you’re referring to), is not related to how AutoFPS performs. Updating them could however bring general improvements to image quality and performance.
