You are amazing. No worries!FYI, while auditing this code some more, I found another small bug, this one non-CTD causing, relating to the flight profile type list not shrinking to IFR and VFR only when switching from Expert to Non-Expert and still showing the extra Expert mode profiles. They can't be selected when like this anyway, so not an urgent one, but I will put out the fix in test25 fairly soon, probably once I've fixed the issue @Adamski_NZ encountered, if that turns out to be something different than what I already fixed. In any case, it should be safe to remain on the test program. Once in the sim (when I noticed it wasn't running) it started fine from my desktop shortcut. Going to try Test24 now ...

Nothing has changed on the auto start code for months, so it may just have been a coincidence this happened at the same time others were getting CTDs. Hopefully test24 will go back to normal for you. Actually, I will release test25 in a few minutes with the small fix I just mentioned, but there is no need to hold off for that as it is non-critical. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

Did you uninstall via installer, as advised in the readme, by selecting Remove? If you just wanted to reset the config files without uninstalling, all you have to do is check the Reset Configs checkbox in the installer and click Update:Did you follow the instructions I initially provided? ie:On 7/21/2026 at 4:10 PM, Reset XPDR said:You must have chosen Man FG X3 at some point in time, where it will stay until you choose something else. Sunday at 07:09 AM5 days Just wanted to chime in with my experience.I've been away from the sim for a year. I absolutely fell in love with this app back then.Today I installed the latest RC build and did a test flight using non-expert settings. I had a lot of cracklilng audio and stuttering which was not my experience at all a year ago. Same hardware. Strange. So I asked Google Gemini and it recommended downgrading to 4.6.6 and that solved my problem. No crackling or stuttering at all. So I'm not sure what you've changed, but it's not good from my perspective. My specs: 4090, 9800X3D, Ultra settings, DLAA, 2XFG, 4KSim set to 300 TLOD, 200 OLODTypical FPS in VFR C208 is 80-90V4.6.6Set Target FG FPS to 70Note I'm not using the 4.6.6 best performance plan optionWith 4.6.6 I'm back in love with TLOD automatically adjusting from 300 to 800. Interested in your thoughts on why I might have nasty stuttering on the latest build.

If so, you should have received a warning that such side effects of audio stuttering can occur on some user's systems and, if so, you should not use it. I don’t recall a setting like that or a warning. I just installed it, ran it in non expert mode, VFR, set to 70 FPS FG.I’m willing to give it another try but please advise as to what settings I should use/avoid to have a good experience. I benefit from the app too, so there is a bit of self interest going on. Also, yours, and others, feedback has helped me tremendously to get the app to where it is today, so consider that thanks enough.I wanted to also thank you for developing this wonderful tool. I have been reading about it for a little while now, but decided to implement it for my airline flying. I downloaded it today installed it and it was extremely easy to use. And it did it job. I had absolutely zero issues on the ground during takeoff in flight or most importantly on descent and approach. There were no stutters.
