Although they announce the “launch”, they clarify that it is not yet for sale in their stores but it will be soon. The sales prices they report are only for the FCU module, the rest will be sold separately. March 29, 20242 yr The fake marketed renderings look fantastic. I'm sure for $104.95 the actual physical product is going to look like word not allowed.

However if it will be supported by a product like spad.next, users will be free to program it with many other aircraft. I have the skalarki fcu and currently use it with all my other various aircraft because of spad. But I don't know if they are supporting this one or not. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
April 15, 20242 yr Commercial Member Hi, I received mine today, the hardware is very nice and once you update the firmware, setup it’s really plug-and-play: just keep the SimAppPro open, and it will automatically recognize either the Fenix A320, or the default Asobo A320. It doesn’t recognize iniBuilds A320 from Beta SU15, but I guess this is to be expected, since the airplane is not officially out yet. However, there’s seems to be a problem with DX12: if it’s enabled, it will make the sim crash in WWTFS.DLL, which seems to be part of the support software. No issues with DX11. In fact, checking the app folder, there’s a .dll for DX10 and one for DX11, suggesting the app doesn’t work in DX12. Can anybody who received it confirm this? April 15, 20242 yr The pricing of this device seems below manufacturing cost. Much like the mini FCU was during its fund raising phase. Both the devices are the initial offering for a full set of gauges so once you choose one, you are likely to stick to that brand for future expansion. I looked at Winwing's other offerings and their gear is not cheap at all. Building market share I guess.
April 16, 20242 yr Great piece of hardware at great price when it works. Using it with Fenix. Just got mine recently and after some talks to support they got it working for me after having to install some DirectX runtime library. https://winwingsim.com/view/help.html?nav=W3siaWQiOjIsInRpdGxlIjoiU2VydmljZSJ9LHsiaWQiOjgsInRpdGxlIjoiU29mdHdhcmUifV0=&id=d3d0MTU2 So I got it working but now other issues. 1. Does not just simply connect for me, only way to get it working is once I am in Fenix battery ON I then start the SimAppPro once running then i have to go to Device TAB, select the device (FCU) and then move one of the knobs on the unit.. that seems to wake up the device and it all connected and working, however..... 2. FCU seems to stop responding after some time as if it goes to sleep and i have to bring the SimAppPro to focus then it works again.. not for very long maybe 3 minutes, I made sure that all the silly power saving features of USB are disabled etc.. and they should be as it does not go dormant when used with FSUIPC So I just set it up with FSUIPC and this way all knobs and buttons work, device stays responsive indefinitely I do however loose the displays, so only knobs and buttons work, also there is no animation when used like that. So these are my issues with it, hopefully will work out the bugs with time. Since I play in VR I don't really care for the displays and willing to wait till software matures, defiantly not a Plug&Play out of the box experience on my end. Andy Home Cockpit B737
April 22, 20242 yr Commercial Member With today's update, the Wingwing FCU is now compatible with DX12: I made a complete flight today with the Fenix, in DX12, zero issues. Umberto Colapicchioni http://www.fsdreamteam.com FSDT on Facebook
May 17, 20242 yr Received mine a few days back and today I installed the simAppPro App latest version but I don't see it under the "Device" tab. All the "Environment Check" are green. Any suggestion? EDIT: Actually under "Environment Check" step: 3 Simulation Initialization Phase is white on the fifth step 0x0003 reading. The rest of the steps are white but step 8. The button and the axis are synchronized. (Pending Activation). How can I activate this device? Edited May 17, 20242 yr by Samaritano
May 17, 20242 yr It looks like I had the unit connected to the Power only usb-c port in the back. I switched it to USB and the software recognized it right away. I prompted me to do a firmware update which I’m about to do.
