how did you manage to make the sky so clean? Will be great if you post tutorial about it.

Reading the code of the shader files and lots of trial and testing, it's more of a dive on in approach and try this & that value.

Cheers

Sorry,

But where exactly is the link to download these clouds?

Thanks Blaunarwal,

Some adjustments along the lines you suggested helped

I realized that whatever I had done was not on line 200. In fact, I only discovered how to track line numbers in notepad just a few days ago. Tweaking the numbers in that line only led me to a black screen.

So, I reinstalled the p3d client and am back at ground zero with tweaking of the HDR.hlsl file. In short, adapting code language is frankly above my skills...thanks for trying to help...

@Rogen May I ask you a favor? I had seen some of your screenshots over the place. So, can you create a set of vfx for my sim? I will give you credit for it, once I publish some videos with it. I really, really want to make my Rayleigh scattering even higher without that to affect the milky way texture I have from flight sim jewels and make the plane look higher in sky compared to ground.

My sim looks like this atm:

The spoiler contains some images. I just, the ground is too close to me for 38 000 feet. Any way to change that to look better?

Sorry, not something I can directly offer.

That said I see you've found my "Rogen's P3D v4" thread and if you fully review that thread you'll see the components and various configuration options I use for v4.5, also what I can do is update that thread (next weekend) with my current V4.5 TomatoShade config and my latest custom cloud shader, so you'll have access to the current config for application to your own sim.

Hope it will help.

Cheers

Yes, I did found it. I already tested your tomato shade profile. I think this will be enough for me, but will be good to share the sky textures. I am on Mo-vision for now.

The flight cockpit was always a dark place in p3d, everyone felt like needs more light inside, and outside too.

I made some adjustments in HDR shader, to improve the lights in simulator, adjusting both uncharted and ACES tonemaps.

The result was very nice, the ACES is much more accurate and actual than uncharted, I fine tune the lights and the contrast.

Magic comes at line 103 at RRTAndODTFit adjusting the numbers that controls the lights, contrast, white point and bright.

Pictures are available at my album and the new file with some EA adjustments in clouds and a new sky for non EA users.

Hey Timmo, try this new file that I posted yesterday.

Thanks for all of your hard work on this.  The only reason I'm not using EA now is the horrible fog band on the horizon while Active Sky is on.  Really ruins the whole immersion and I have no idea how to get rid of it.
