Yes.  Almost posted something earlier on this but didn't want to be accused of being pedantic.  The piston Dukes are "turbo Dukes".  The turbine conversion is a turbine Duke.

Yeah, I meant turbine...🤔

I'm not totally sure where this information comes from, but that is not accurate. At the core is, the sim does not support hot swapping avionics. We have advised developers against utilizing hot

  • I'd say FlySimWare Cessna 414 if it can't be the Duke.

I made that paint hehe.  It's based on the real version of a royal turbine I saw when I used to work in DLH.

Well, sad to report, but I am having an issue with the Turbine Duke today.  Have had 5 CTDs so far, both on loading flight and three while flying. I looked on their support and saw that one otyher person was having similar issues, and they thought it might be the combination of the Duke and the PMSD GTN 750, which I am using. I submitted a ticked, so hopefuly a soluotion can be found. I hate to use the 530 GPS. Just had another CTD, while I was typing this, in the middle of the flight.

Do you mean the TDS? If so, why don't you run with the free version of PMS50 in the meantime for the Turbine? I've never had this issue.

Is your PMS version up to date?  That can cause issues sometimes.

I just updated the GTN 750,  it, it wasn't that old, but I will see. I had another issue with the mouse view on the flight deck hardly moving, loaded up the Pilatus, and mouse view works perectly. Think I will take a break from the Duke for awhile. Been all morning trying to complete a flight with it.

Guys, need some help here. Should I reinstall the MSFS2020 in order to be able to install the Duke and copy paste it to 2024 community folder or is there an easier way?

You can try this method - I had it via the standalone exe and I had it installed to 2020 so I just copied it over

I did an uninstall and reinstall of the Duke, and now everything seems to be working fine. Fingers crossed. 🤞

Question on Turbine Duke, checklist says to turn on fuel cross feed prior to takeoff. Should it then be lefty on for the entire flight?

No, the fuel aelectors go back to "on" (i.e. non-crossfeed) later in the runup checklist.
