Is there a simbrief profile available somewhere - if so does it include for both variants (turbine and piston)?

Yes, there are Simbrief profiles for the standard piston Duke, the Grand Duke variant and the Turbine conversion.  Look for BE60, BE6G and B60T respectively in the select aircraft type selection page.

I'm not totally sure where this information comes from, but that is not accurate. At the core is, the sim does not support hot swapping avionics. We have advised developers against utilizing hot

  • I'd say FlySimWare Cessna 414 if it can't be the Duke.

Thanks - I'm slightly confused, Does the current bundle package also include the grand duke variant? I was under the impression that it only includes Piston and Turbine variants.

The Grand Duke is, itself, a variant of the piston version of the Duke and is part of the package.  It's the version I fly pretty much exclusively.

Thanks to all that replied. It makes sense now ☺️

I spent almost the entire day yesterday watching youtube videos on the Turbo Duke, I just got on Sunday, and flying it for around 7 hours. What a fantastic aircraft to fly and learn. The owner's manual is a masterpiece, 160 pages filled with everything you want to know about this aircraft, its instrumentation, and flying it.  I can see that it is the GA aircraft I will be flying almost all the time.

Best thing about the duke is that I’ve found many smaller ga airports that I can now fly into.

Seems like a combo with TDS GTN for the vacation?

I am using the PMS GTN 750 with the Duke, which I use in many of the aircraft I fly.

I have the Duke bundle, but how to see them both in 2024 at the same time? If I copy one over from 2020, the other one does not appear.

Also, has anyone got the BS Baron to work in 2024?

I copied it over and they all appear and work well.  The MSFS2024 menu is a little tricky, in that you have to go into "Configure" and then possibly under "Liveries" to select/see the Grand Duke.

The thing on liveries seems to not be a problem now with SU2 for me.  Under SU1 I did have a livery with a custom registration that wasn't working properly, but now with SU2 it's working perfectly.   I have not seen any flashing Duke liveries in 2024 as someone reported earlier in this thread, although it could be that I just haven't loaded them all up to check.

Assume you guys mean turbine not turbo? As the grand duke is turbocharged yet a piston

Yes.  Almost posted something earlier on this but didn't want to be accused of being pedantic.  The piston Dukes are "turbo Dukes".  The turbine conversion is a turbine Duke.
