F1 car in FS2020 ?

Featured Replies

Inibuilds INIR24 F1 car in Flight Simulator, cool, but why ??, there's all kinds of racing sims, heck ...if we're going that route let have vintage F1...Lotus 77', Ferrari 312T2, McLaren M23, a "Rush" movie pack, there was a scene at the end where Lauda and Hunt were talking around a lear jet, lol.

I'd imagine one of them is an F1 fan and wanted to do it for fun. It worked and then they released it for free. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Even though this was just for lolz I have envisaged a simulated world where I fly into Daytona Beach and go straight to the track for some racing, all seemlessly and with today's tech there's no reason why it couldn't be done.

Indeed! There's always been a vision of where you could have like a merge of these sims like Truck Simulator, Flight Sim etc. Where you could do a truck drive with cargo being delivered to an airport. That would then load onto a plane and then you could do the cargo flight etc.

Maybe one day! 😛

Another dreamer of such "Global simming" here 😁...

Car/truck/bus, flight, train, ship, society, ... Blending with Adventures...

Around 2008 I purchased "Dreamfall the Longest Journey" from Steam for my daughter to play ... By that time the realismo of the graphics overall hugely outpassed anything available for flight simulations ... What if a merge was possible ... I though...

I see FS eventually becoming an airline pilot role-playing game where you have a "home" you live.  Then, you find out where you are flying to, drive to your home airport, walk to your gate, do the flight, and get a ride-share (or hotel transport) to your hotel in the destination city.  You have to make sure you get plenty of sleep at night, eat well, and have leisure time so you don't go crazy. Then, do it all over again (hopefully flying back home so you can sleep in your own bed).

It´s fun and something new and refreshing. Like that dinosaurs pack 😻 I absolutely LOVE that dinosaurs pack! Everything that is not taking itself too serious, like for example that Middle Earth scenery or anything else to make the environment more exciting and refreshing (but without getting the main goal of a simulator out of focus - which is the most realistic cockpit visuals, super-deep cockpit systems, avionics engine and navigation simulation and flight physics) is always welcome.

So why not a Formula 1 track too?

I have seen a few driving games for the flight sim, some Rally buggy and drivable boats and other stuff. I personally don´t use that but it makes the scenery more interesting with more interesting AI-driven stuff too see.
