With Lossless Scaling at 2x, I end up getting 60. PS: does LS also work with Aerofly? It's not DirectX but rather OpenGL or Vulkan so I really don't know? June 12, 20241 yr Author Some people are reporting X-Plane (that also uses OpenGL or Vulkan) works with Lossless Scaling. Therefore, AeroflyFS should work too. June 15, 20241 yr Author Oh, yeah. These utilities work best if your CPU is maxed out and your GPU is doing almost nothing (limited by main thread, in MSFS speak). July 18, 20241 yr Late to this party, interesting tech. What happens if you try to use this with low frame rates? Say 13fps, will it raise it to 26fps?
July 18, 20241 yr Read the comments in the P3D section where it has been discussed at length. I found it quite hopeless, it completely messed up my 2 screens and I was unable to use my mouse effectively as the taskbar had disappeared.. Didn't see any noticeable improvement. Have removed it. Maybe it works for other more modern PCs. Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM. Z170x Gigabyte m/b. 28" LG HD monitor. Win 10 Home. 500g Samsung 960 as Windows home. 1 Gb Mushkin SSD for P3D.
