June 26, 20241 yr Would appreciate any feedback on the A320 Immersion by Parallel 42 released last week! 1. Any large impact on the frame rates when effects are visible? 2. Are the effects scalable? Can the user decide when those effects appear? Wing vortex are always on in clouds or only at certain humidity? Any feedback would be appreciated! Cheers. June 27, 20241 yr I’ve had it since release (1 week ago?). Not sure if I would buy it again though. Some of the effects are great, but I don’t pay attention to them that much (mostly in the cockpit). They do look impressive in external view though. First flight I started on a rainy day, and water could be seen dripping from the engines and wings. It’s possible to customize a lot through the toolbar interface. Probably there’s more in-depth info on their website. June 27, 20241 yr Just my opinion, the A320 Immersion brings nice effects, but $15 on top of the $25 expent in the base SimFX, is way too much for what it has to offer. Yap, I thought about that too, it is 60% of the cost of the Fenix itself, pretty steep.... June 27, 20241 yr Absolutely tanks my performance. Did not even have one successful flight because of the slide show it causes. Tried multiple times. I am more happy with it deleted.
