Yesterday I purchased the full PRO version of Flow Pro via OrbX

After loading into the sim I noticed a bright multi coloured FLOW PRO logo top right of my window. 

Obnoxious and intrusive, and certainly an immersion killer. I spent several minutes looking for a way to disable this but failed so removed the software and went to support to request a refund.

Am still awaiting a refund, but as the emails so far do not look hopeful I thought other Avsimmers might be interested in this situation and how it plays out.

Here is the correspondence so far,

I hope they do the honourable  thing and refund OR remove the logo for me.

The above is on screen at all times top right of your sim screen when you use their toolbar wheel. It fades in and fades out. Very obvious and distracting. I cannot have this display while making videos, live streaming or any night flight for obvious reasons. I am fine with free software doing this until you register/pay but software labelled as PRO full version heck no. Green my emails, blue theirs (parallel 42)

how to remove the FLOW PRO brand logo that appears top right sim whenever I activate the wheel?

this MUST be absent from the sim screen at all times -  instant refund request if not possible..I make content and I have a zero logo/sponsor/ads policy

this being there by default really makes me unhappy :(

if you CAN remove it so ONLY settings cog appears this will be acceptable

if not possible to remove please inform re email so i can forward to orbx for refund

Thanks for reaching out. With regards to your question, there is no way to disable the flow logo that appears when activating the flow wheel.

If you would like to suggest this as a Feature you are more than welcome to put in a Feature Request via our Discord feature request channels.

With regards to a refund on your software purchase, I request you review our refund policy under Section 6 in particular subsection 8.

I have removed the software already, cannot use forced logos which is the first time ever I have paid for an item and had to display a logo

it's called PRO , the free version should have a logo, not the PAID full version.

Feel free to suggest this yourself to the team. As I wish to return the unusable (to me) product I would like an immediate refund please.

You obviously did NOT read the refund policy. I am just reporting something. It's not cheap software. No big deal for me, but for some it might be.

You are right there IS some over-reacting in this thread 

If that never goes away, then something must be conflicting with it.   I've had Flow Pro from the beginning and that only appears when I need to access the settings.  It quickly disappears right afterwards.   Do you have any toolbar mods in your community folder?

EDIT: I think I read your post wrong, you did mention it goes away when not using the wheel.

You are right it appears only during settings, but the wheel can be discretely placed out of the way, the logo can not. I have zero tolerance for any software that displays product logos on screen. The PMDG ground trucks annoy me lol. I've paid thousands for video/photo software to REMOVE watermarks. I like a clean screen, nothing but the cockpit, or tool I am using obviously being visible. Flo has a GHOST wheel which is why I paid for it in the first place. Not much point being invisible when logo still there tho lol. Thanks for your help btw!

Ah, I understand your issue now.  Hopefully you have success with your request, good luck!

I personally like your email exchange.  I had an extremely bad experience with them once and wouldn’t use their stuff if it were free.  But hey, that’s just my opinion.

What an odd thing to want to get a refund over

It's just the a logo of the product you're using and it goes away when the wheel is closed.

Why do you need the wheel open all the time? it only takes less than a second to hit the keybind to open it.

Yes. I agree with Jack_Sawyer.  //42 support is not good. Try their support and you will never buy from them again !

Edit: Yes, I agree with sloppysmusic. Get rid of those logo/watermarks from your products !

If you enjoy making decent, immersive videos then the last thing you’ll want is to have someone’s logo keep appearing on screen.

It strikes me as a strange thing to do anyway.

Like almost everyone here I use a large number of third party products and enjoy them greatly. Do I want their company logos on my screen whilst using the sim?

Hell no….

It's their product, why shouldn't their logo be on it? And it's not always there, it goes away when the wheel closes.

I've been simming for 25 years and making videos /taking photos 40 and this is the first time a PAID software actually labelled as 'PRO' has done this. It has always been standard practice for free/evaluation software to have logos or watermarks on screen. This is totally fair. 

I feel it's a small hill but worth making a stand on as there's bigger hills and mountains out there. Imagine if PMDG stuck their logo on the 777 windscreen? Or if every time a new weather got injected by Active Sky the HIFI logo appeared. Or if going into your sim options gave you a big ASOBE/MICROSOFT logo onscreen for a few seconds. Most of us run multiple addons. If EACH one had its own logo on screen, even if briefly, our sim would look like a racing car. Covered in sponsors, flashing logos too!

I actually don't like the big settings icon being up there too. NO reason why it can't be on the actual wheel itself seeing as it appears whenever you request it. But...I said I'd put up with in my support request if I could get that neon sign removed.
