I assume the official forums.

The Official Forums have very much not been kind to AH releases, so I'm guessing they are getting Facebook, Instagram, or email feedback.

  • New controls settings. On 2024 we will be able to set those for individual planes.

  • The new UI looks sleek and well organized too.

Not terribly enthused by another UK / Ireland update. Would rather other regions were raised from ‘meh’ to good rather than revisiting an already good region to raise it to excellent.

I doubt it. AH get slated there too.

Asobo has also said that they have received a lot of positive feedback on AH's other aircraft (note: no idea where they would be reading that from).

Depends on how they're defining "a lot".

AH are among the very best when it comes to modeling - their addons are stunningly beautiful, across the board. Tier 1, full stop.

Their systems and flight modeling, however, are average, at best. And I suspect systems are what delayed the 707, which is - relative to the large body of their work - a modern, very complex, jet airliner. And it's a truly legendary aircraft for so many. It's going to be mercilessly picked apart even tho it's only going to be $20-ish dollars.

So, you have a bunch of guys like us that care just as much about FMs and systems as we do about graphics, and we pan their work.

But there are a whole other group of folks who enjoy their work as it is.

So I suspect that the percentage of users who are in the latter camp make up "a lot" of their user base.

Will they auto-load with the respective addon or do you have to manually change (or am I being Irish again and this already works in 2020 and I still haven't stumbled across it...)? 🤣

Each aircraft will have its own profile. It will auto-load. And 2020 doesn’t have that for now (maybe they will implement in a future update). In 2020 you can create as much profiles as you want, but you need to switch manually.

Last dev Q&A Jörg said they are listening to the community and assessing how deep they need to go with those planes (famous fliers and local legends). They never aimed study level. It’s different from the expert series (ATR). I guess they could improve realism, but they would cost more and we would have less releases through time.

It's a fine balance, for sure.

I am personally satisfied with the current value prop of all three series.

Just noticed 2,500,000 Cr in the top right corner.

Very similar to how money works in Forza Motorsport / Horizon, hmm.

Let's open up this can of delicious worms and indulge in a bit of good ol' speculation!

(Probably how rewards work for jobs, you get credits and therefore unlock new career paths?)

That's great! X-Plane and DCS have that now and it saves a TON of time and frustration.

Glad to see the ongoing quality of life improvements in MSFS!👍

This made me chuckle. It would make sense from a business standpoint to do the old fashioned micro transaction thing, where you can “earn” or buy X amount of credits to unlock certain paint jobs/planes/etc. Maybe you will be able to earn credits by completing missions…who knows.

You're kidding? Their modelling and texturing, especially within the cockpit environment falls far below what the sim itself and other developers are capable of producing.

Might also just be a career mode thing. Used to unlock new routes, types of routes, types of aircrafts you can use in whatever career you chose.

They're not for the Marketplace, as we've already seen that UI and it still uses regular currency
