Not terribly enthused by another UK / Ireland update. Would rather other regions were raised from ‘meh’ to good rather than revisiting an already good region to raise it to excellent.

There were some good news regarding that: WU Brazil is finished collecting the data (airplanes finished the work, DEM data received etc), they just need to work on the data (months of work, not weeks). And they are also flying over Africa to have some TIN cities over there.

I mean, not ideal, but WU Brazil is still said to come for MSFS 2020 (so I guess before 11/2024). And we now we will have PG cities (plural) in Africa.

Side note: Jörg is in Hawaii, so maybe he is flying himself the plane to take the so needed pictures for the WU Hawaii. LOL

  • New controls settings. On 2024 we will be able to set those for individual planes.

  • The new UI looks sleek and well organized too.

Big ATR update in mid-September.
They are bringing a STOL version, updated highline interiors, and a whole bunch of code fixes.
No talk of the cargo version, which is a bit of a bummer - feels more relevant than a luxury interior.

Last one came out in Feb 2021, and Ireland was barely touched in that update, but IIRC adding anything at all to Ireland was a last minute addition for that update and not part of the original plan. While this update adds a lot to Ireland. So Ireland is going from Meh to Good

Like here's the DEM changes

I’m about to spend two weeks in England, Scotland and Ireland so I’ll be looking forward to retracing (flying over) my steps with a new world update!

He didn't said what other cities will get covered by PG, did he? Also, I think he didn't say if London will be updated in this WU.

I saw, but London is already covered by PG. The issue is the current PG is bad in some aspects and Jörg said they had a new PG they would implement at some point. Today they rushed a bit while talking about the WU and I think Jörg didn't mention anything about it.

I don't think they would have shown London if it was the same photogrammetry.

I missed the stream, but read some comments.

Looks like there wasn't any detailed discussion on the new FS2024 aircraft physics modelling 😴

They're not going to start talking about 2024 in depth before September.

The last several Q&As a lot of people in chat have been asking about multiple jetways.  They have not been answered as far as I'm aware.  This Q&A Jayne asked the question but combined 2 different issues (i think about ground friction along with jetways).

Does anyone know if this has been addressed before?  I can't seem to remember.

Wondering if we're going to see them in 2020 or 2024.

I believe this question was addressed to Martial, which is then a waste of time.  He either seems to misunderstand the question, or says "I need to look into it" (even though he has the chance to view a lot of these questions in advance).

His responses to the vast majority of the questions was woeful, as usual.  Just look at the DLSS question as a prime example.
He gives the impression he really doesn't care what the MSFS users are concerned about, while doing it all with that stupid smug a smug grin on his face.

And people wonder why I don't like him.  He would make a good politician.

so all the airports coming in next week's world update
EGPB - Sumburgh
EGSS - Stanstead
EGFF - Cardiff
EGLF - Farnborough
EICK - Cork

Too bad, I have purchased all of these already. Why don't they choose airports that haven't been done already?
