Looking at liveries for the A321 and wondering whether the liveries in the Fenix app or the ones on flightsim.to are better quality? Also, is there any benefit of 8k liveries if you are only running the sim at 4k?

If memory serves me right, the Fenix App liveries are the same as on Flightsim.to; however, they are in 4k (for the most part, and its honestly just as good and better on the frames), and the interior cabins are not personalized (I thin they want to change that eventually).  If you want personalized cabins, and / or 8k, get the liveries on flightsim.to from the same artist.  

I believe they have both 8k and 4k versions. You can set in preferences which one to download.

The only difference between the two are custom cabin LAYOUTS. The decals, etc. for the seat backs are there. However, if the creator changed the seat types, those you can only get on .to.

I started making the livery manager my first stop for Fenix liveries. They can take a bit to get updates, however.

I like the ease of the fenix installer.  However I like the custom interiors we get on .to, so I favor that.

Depending on the the repainter you get the custom interiors in the fenix app just as well.

I flew in the Air Canada Rouge A321 last night and noticed the seats/headrests had the custom Rouge colours but no logos (so somewhere in between?), downloaded from the Fenix installer.

Hi everyone. I can only speak for myself on this matter, but to provide some clarification with my liveries at least:

Liveries of mine between the livery manager and Flightsim.to are usually identical in nearly all areas. Sometimes they're the exact same; however, occasionally there's a few differences. I have a document and a pdf that I include in liveries that are subtly different. I've provided an excerpt from it that should hopefully clear up some confusion:

The only difference is the cabin seats. Several other liveries within the Fenix Livery Manager, such as British Airways and EasyJet, feature custom cabins with accurate, airline-specific seat models. At the time of this writing, there is no seat model that includes inflight entertainment (IFE) specific to this livery. Because of this, and to uphold the commonality of liveries within the Fenix Livery Manager, I have released two separate seat textures. One that is consistent with other Fenix Livery Manager liveries, and another (hosted on Flightsim.to) that deviates from this, though some users may be okay with these cabins. This is not a confirmation that Fenix Simulations will create new cabin seat models that include things such as IFE, adjustable headrests, or provide entirely different seat models from different manufactures; however, if they do elect to do so, I will revisit this livery and issue a cabin update.

Here are some pictures, for example. Sometimes the difference will be adding an IFE screen or doing some 'texture magic' to make it appear as if there is a magazine holder in the upper part of the seat (such as the Collins Aerospace "Meridian" seat seen on American's A319s and A321s). Fenix doesn't allow textured 3D things that aren't consistent with their model details within the manager. With that being said, I can assure you, aside from minor cabin things like this, that Fenix takes great pride in the quality of the liveries within the manager, and you aren't missing out by using them.

I d/l the Delta A319 livery from the Fenix livery manager, N333NB, and see you did it as a single class. Is there a reason for this as it is 2 class aircraft on Delta?

Two-class cabins are only available on the A321 at this current time from Fenix.

Speaking of liveries.  Great job!  I'm using the heritage AAL ones for the 321 right now.  

Question:  For some reason the Cactus 321 announcements are using the default one instead of the AAL one I have.  I'm not sure why.  Do you have any insight on this?

I accidentally forgot to include the "icao_airline = _ _ _ " in some aircraft.cfg files, which tells Fenix which cabin announcements to use. This has been fixed for both my Flightsim.to and livery manager liveries. If you don't mind, give them a redownload that should resolve the issue.

Ahh, gotchya.  Will do.  Is there a file I can edit, or does it need a new d/l?
Disregard the last.  Found the file where it's at.  the PSA doesn't seem to have the file though, so I'll just re-downlaod.
