Aerosoft EDDF Frankfurt will be released on 5th September

Although there are some things to fix ( tarmac and taxiway elevation issues I did report ) I enjoy this airport to the fullest.

Sure it is heavy on the framerate but using the great AutoFPS + LS I am getting 60 fps continuously …. ( without both 22-36 )

While we're all waiting, I want to give a shoutout to the people at VirtualFRA as well as Aviotek that both provided us with free versions of EDDF. Both of these are vast improvements over the handcra

Well, Aerosoft One just downloaded Version 1.0.1 REV C in my case. And put the .ini and the .py files for GSX as a Symlink into the GSX folder. I do NOT like such things, why not simply putting the original file there? And now you have the GSX files on flightsim.to but obviously they are outdated as of now? Slightly messy approach 😉

they're updated on Flightsim.to

Yes, I have seen that. About two to three hours after the release of the scenery update within Aerosoft One. Which should not be the case, because it was slightly confusing whether or not the flightsim.to file was now even newer or the same date as the Aerosoft One update one. No big deal, just wanted to give some feedback here...

Yes, you can read it in Aerosoft One when you update. And it was posted on here on page 10.

you and a load of people on here bought an unfinished product that on release day  (by the devs own words) wasnt optimised, nor was the afcad ready, amgonst a number of other issues.

read the fselite articles, the youtube reviews, reddit etc etc.  all of which say it was brought out on release unfinished.  and has been flamed by numerous customers if you read the comments.

Ive said many many times aerosoft have form for this, going back 10 years plus, yet you guys still bought the unfinished product on release day after it being hyped and hyped only to find aerosoft had done it again, released too early as an unfinished product.

As i mention all the time, the more the community keeps buying this unfinished junk, the more the devs will keep trying to get away with it. This is a perfect example yet again.

Its no different if you said to my airline at check in, youd be quite happy to take a seat where half the ife channels didnt work, your not bothered about getting your meal choice, and theres nothing more you love than sitting next to the toliet,

The csa's would think they won the jackpot, a customer that is happy to have a half baked product,  and if you said to them, actually do the same on the way home too if you like,  they would be jumping up and down with glee behind the desk "lets palm this word not allowed off on this fool then"

This is what you are doing buy supporting devs like aerosoft who constantly release unfinished stuff.  They have hit the jackpot being able to release any old unfinished rubbish

Everyone could read that the product was going to be further optimized after release.

The fact that Jo Erlend was the head designer was good enough for me to buy it at its release date

Now with the latest update I can taxi without “climbing” hills and no whobbleing anymore when passing taxi way crossings.

With AutoFPS + Lossless Scaling I have 60 fps ( vsync locked )…
