That's what I'm waiting for. All of my Aerosoft purchases are on Contrail.

I'd say the priorities were spot on, do as much as possible without sacrificing performance for unnecessary stuff / 8k textures where you don't see them in from the airside.

It's not "outstanding" in all areas like e.g. KBOS or KLAS from FlyTampa, but it's good and solid with a very good performance (which has always been a problem due to the city of Frankfurt being so close).

I do not have a problem with that. There are other airports waiting on my list that are now begging to be discounted

Could be on a later Update, i would tell that in the Forum or a Ticket or somehow that Aerosoft notices this and then I believe that something like this will be fixed with later updates...

Just bought it. Does ORBX Frankfurt city bring anything to the mix now that MSFS had the new WU? Maybe if i have PG off?(lately for performance with Fenix,PMDG and Leonardo.

I'd say that says more about certain people in that community than about the airport. 

It's excellent. Perfect? No. But a solid 9 out of 10 worthy of Jo Erlend's work.

One of the unfortunate issues with its promotion is that official trailers and screenshots are very heavy on the filters (which are an unfortunate plague in promotion for MSFS and other simulators), so people see the product on their own sim that is likely not as crazy on filter use. It looks different, and they get disappointed.

Developers (and creators of trailers) should absolutely be requested to not use filters or any sort of post-production effects in their promotion, but unfortunately, there's too little pushback against it, so they don't care and they keep up what is essentially misleading advertising.

No Orbx Frankfurt is actually the same as the default MSFS Frankfurt. They bought it from Orbx

I’d give it a thumbs up. Worth the hype? Possibly not. But performance is fine for me and perfectly detailed enough for my needs. I’d say it’s not quite Flytampa but somewhat above ini quality.

...and one of those has just appeared. FSDG LGKF Kefalonia currently has a 50% discount offer on the MS Marketplace. I am downloading as I type these words
