Is IFR  already working flawlessly?

For me more important then tourguides, taxi guidance, co pilots, free candy on board and all this stuff which I don’t need at all………

So I was curious and bought a month again and must say that this was the best offline ATC experience I had in a flightsimulator.

Also now the copilot handles the comms and you get a cabin crew with it.

When I changed the language to Dutch I could just speak in Dutch with the copilot.

Overall a 9 / 10 experience.

It is so much more natural then a script based program, it has changed enormous since the last time I tried it!

I took another IFR flight with SIAI again and I'm now much more impressed. It still has some quirks, but overall, getting very close to my real IFR flight experiences. This is frankly AMAZIING!

Couple things to improve:

1. SIAI is not very diligent in terms of assign me altitude through the course. I was at 5500' when requesting ILS14 to KYNG, and SIAI only gave me one instruction to descent and maintain 2500' when I'm close to IF OTNOE This is way too late, also below the 2900' as specified at the chart.

2. Vectoring to ILS was handled by the KYNG tower in SIAi. In my real flights, this is always handled by approach and only after established on localizer I'd be handed over to tower.

3. Vectoring is a bit crude, but is totally acceptable at this stage. 😄

Overall, what a quantum leap from default ATC. Can't believe now I can just talk naturally to SIAI and replicate so much my real flight experience in sim. Actually even better - I'm based on an un-towered airport so I don't get much chance to talk to ground control etc IRL. Practicing ground handling with SIAI is of tremendous help.

Preview images of SayIntentions traffic injection in the works, along with a very short ATC tease. Based on more information in todays announcement message on discord, TL;DR: They're going to be taking a very gradual and subtle implementation to make sure it works well and doesnt increase the price of the software, instead of a big "Traffic is here!" type release. Elements are going to be added in bits by bits. Until eventually you can fly in crowded skies while staying true to real life.

I take it is now managed traffic from external injection like FSLTL?

I got the email too from the developer who has clearly stated not to expect anything other than to see what bits and bobs may or may not be apparent when you are using the app.

I am glad that they have been honest- it's sadly a hard pass for me until I know exactly what I am paying for in terms of traffic injection

Im confused, is there traffic now? If so, how to use it? The announcement was very cryptic and complex for my little brain to digest…
