September 7, 20241 yr I was just wondering what your thoughts were on these as a lot of them have been springing up on flightsim.to. I tried one and didn't like the effect too much, but would be interested to hear how many of you use them and how many don't I can't remember which one I tried now, but maybe some are better than others. September 7, 20241 yr What happened to the Freeware Friday page they used to do on Flightsim.to? Did they run out of freeware? I quite enjoyed perusing that page. Cheers Steve Hall
September 7, 20241 yr I use the Switzerland Treefix. That poor guy is doing double time currently because WU18 messed up the Alps so badly with bad aerials that lead to patches that lack all trees. And yet at the same time you get too many of them all along the ridges of mountains, way over 1800meters above sea level, where non grow in reality.
September 8, 20241 yr Trees is a bit of a mess IMO. In Norway it's quite impossible to do a lot of approaches due to trees in the way. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

September 8, 20241 yr my question is just how do you bung them in the sim? Do you just unzip them & drop them in the community folder? September 8, 20241 yr Generally the „artificial intelligence“ in MSFS is a vast aerea for improvement - these „little boxes“ (houses), spikes (still after 4 years), the overgrown cities and villages, really something that could be set on the agenda for the next MSFS version.
