Fenix First Officer callouts

Featured Replies

One thing I have missed in the Fenix is the first officer speed and flap callouts. The other day I read a post on their discord where someone asked about this, and another person posted a link to this free mod. I installed it in my A 320, and it is great. All the speeds, flap positions, are called out.  You do need to have the Paid version of FSUIPC to utilize it, the instructions to install it are very easy to follow. It really adds a great deal to the immersion in the Fenix Airbus series, as it works on all of the models.

Here are the callouts.  :

takeoff: STABILIZED, FLEX SET / TOGA SET, AIRSPEED ALIVE, 100 KNOTS, VEE ONE, ROTATE, POSITIVE CLIMB, CLIMB SET
Landing: SPOILERS, REVERSE GREEN, DECEL, 70 KNOTS, AUTOBRAKE OFF
Gear confirmation: GEAR UP, GEAR DOWN
Flaps confirmation: FLAPS UP, FLAPS 1, FLAPS 2, FLAPS 3, FLAPS FULL
Special: STOP (rejected takeoff), STAND UP, GO (touch-and-go)

I have been using it since it first came out! Awesome, simple 'plug-in'. I highly recommend it!

Hope the author will update it for the 319/321.

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

i remember this little beauty from P3D days

ROG Crossair Hero X670e , 9900X, TUF 4090 , X4 NVME's. OS  2TB 980 Pro , MSFS  2TB WD Black , Kington Fury 64GB ram ( 6000) Corsair RM1000 PSU, Artic Freezer iii 360 AIO  . Phanteks P600s Case ,TCL QM8B 50" 120 Hz  TV,second 24 inch screen for charts you tube etc, and 11" touch screen for the EFB. Warthog Stick and TCA Captains throttle ( full pack)  Velocity 1 Rudder Pedals , extreme3D for the Tiller,Streamdeck XL x2 / Streamdeck +/Streamdeck mini because i like pressing buttons

Paid version of FSUIPC? Yea, not sure who even needs that software anymore. Many now use AAO or SPAD.next. Shame, wish the author would figure out a way to use it with these more modern software solutions.

I own it from the original days of msfs. I just prefer not to install it. Nonetheless thanks for pointing out this mod. Really cool add on

Copied from the Developers page on the link I posted.

Summary

This is a FSUIPC7 Lua plugin, which dynamically plays the callouts you would hear from the pilot monitoring (PM) in an Airbus A320 series flight deck during takeoff and landing (including rejected takeoff, go-around and touch-and-go). For FENIX A319/A320/A321 ONLY.

If anything, I would try to make PMCO a completely independent executable. I even installed MS visual studio and looked at some example projects, but it would be a massive undertaking with absolutely no gain at all for me, personally. It would be purely for the community. And I will be honest with you, I made PMCO for myself in the first place. I just thought it would be logical to share it with the ones that also happen to already have FSUIPC. It is not intended to make anyone buy FSUIPC just for my plugin. Although I know there are some that did.

FSUIPC may not be modern, but it does everything I expect from it, and much more.
