New fenix update.421

@everyone

Hello all, we come bearing the gift of a new engine! The CFM engine we initially selected for the A321 was the CFM56-5B2, but after much community feedback we have built and installed the more ubiquitous CFM56-5B3 as the engine of choice for the A321. This engine is 2000lbf (10kN) more powerful, and is the most powerful CFM variant fitted to any A32X CEO. Additional to that, we’ve shown the A321 more love by pushing an attempted fix at the autorotation issues, and taking another swipe at tuning the rotation on the A321 in general. Enjoy 🙂

**Avionics and Systems**

- Added an lvar for whether jet pumps are installed

- Switched loadsheets from using the SimBrief planned aircraft registration to the actual aircraft registration

- Fixed CF track intercept bug

- Fixed MCDU THR RED/ACC values not being rounded correctly

- Fixed certain characters breaking the formatting on the DCDU

**EFB**

- Added persistence of chart zoom levels and positions (just within the current session)

- Added CFM56-5B3 takeoff performance data

- Added ability to switch between CDU1 and CDU2 in the Web MCDU

- Added highlights to mass and balance fields when they will exceed MZFW and MTOW

- Improved readability of pop-up dialogs in dark environments

- Made error messages less ambiguous (less “server error”)

- Fixed differences between system- and EFB-reported green dot speed

- Fixed map and charts using magnetic heading

- Fixed incorrect landing wind component in regions with high magnetic variation

- Fixed flights showing as diverted after a turnaround

- Fixed callsign being padded to four digits rather than three

- Fixed malformed UI on planned numbers dialog when cargo input is clicked

- Fixed EFB charging when PILOT OUTLET CB is popped

**Flight and Engine Models**

- Replaced CFM56-5B2 with CFM56-5B3 engines on the A321

- Attempted an autorotation fix

No I fly cold and dark gate to gate so 1-2hr flight very limiting max time I have in one sitting 1 hr .Enough time to get to the runway with realistic boarding times . No problem with PMDG or leonardo would just love to be able to do in an airbus .

This seems to be a personal problem. Not sure what you're doing differently. I fly the Airbus and the MD80 a lot and don't notice a single difference in setup time.

Nothing to do with setup time MD80 I can save and come back to my plane even if aloft the next day . How I fly is my personal choice . How simple do I have to make . I turn off my PC when I finish with the time I have available . Next day I turn it on and reload my saved file . MD80 I continue Fenix I fall out of the sky .

Your options are to send them a note in support or ask around in their discord. If its something they can or are willing to do they will probably respond. If its something they cannot do i'm sure they will say so as well so you can make your decision and move on.

There's no point in complaining about something that wont get changed because the dev has decided they wont do it or they cant because of  product design or back end licensing issue (Im speculating here.. hence why i suggest sending them a support request or going to their discord and asking directly regarding the feature you want) .  So ask your question directly to them, get your answer and make your purchasing decision.

Otherwise your going to have to adjust the way you do your flight.

Just got the a319 and 21 pack and  wondering what combination of type and engines are classed as the neo? (can’t see an actual neo type in the plane selection but there is for the asobo/ini version)

None of them--all of the Fenix Scarebusses are the CEO versions.
