In keeping with the spirit of this thread, nearly all the real journalists have been replaced with alien reptilian shape-shifters.  They've been here for decades, maybe even centuries, but in the 50's and 60's they worked for supermarket tabloids.  As time went on, these same aliens were able to migrate to legitimate news sources, and some worked their way to management.  Some migrated to business, entertainment or politics and worked their way up.

I know all this is true because I originally read it in a supermarket tabloid. 😄 

If you watch too much news, you might come to believe we are approaching some combination of Armageddon, World War III or the Zombie Apocalypse.  I suggest, as an antidote, you instead seek out funny dog and cat videos on YouTube.  After an hour of this your face will be sore from smiling the entire time.

Cats are comedians.  They're generally fairly reserved, even when being funny.  Dogs are clowns.  They're not afraid of self-deprecating humor.  Kittens can be silly, but adult cats?  No way.  Cats were once worshiped as gods, and cats have never forgotten this.  It's best if we don't either.

The Evil Canine Empire will never take over because the Cats already rule everything, and this is unlikely to ever change.
