why the plane never catch the localizer? i have put the values at RADNAV (rway radio frecuency and course) and i have pushed APPR button but never catch the localizer

I have solved the problem , it didn't catch the ILS bcs i did't put the ILAF/110.30  in the first row of the nav radio page

Why are you manually tuning the ils? The Md11 auto tunes it from built in database. Unless it's not coded properly I guess? I believe you'd only normally manual tune if atc gave you vectors to final on an emergency alternative airport so entering the appr in cdu would not be so useful then?

Hi all, just wanted to touch base on MD-11 updates/progress.

- We've had a MAJOR breakthrough in the FADEC code, meaning that the next update _should_ fix the engine oscillations and response time as well as improve ATS performance significantly (read: no speed protection on approach or surging engines).
- Additionally, the ILS overhaul is now in code review, meaning the first pass of the work is done. We expect that to hit QA next week as well.
- Next, a slew of new settings (hardware throttle indicator, minimums sync, more robust altimeter sync) are being implemented.
- SayIntentions AI ACARS support is coming to MSFS and P3D
- SimBrief support for P3D is nearly complete and will also be part of the next update

This next one is going to be a big one and should address nearly all of the remaining _major_ code issues. There is still a major art update in the works (nearing completion, relatively) and another pass of the sounds to improve the GE's whine sound.

As a side note, all of these things being out of the way paves the way for the PWs to make an appearance in the foreseeable future as well, though that may have to wait for the art update, as will Xbox/marketplace/official FS2024 support.

After a unanimous `yes` vote by the Collector's Edition, we are happy to report that version 1.0.41 is now available! This should fix autothrottle performance and engine oscillation and improve the sounds significantly.
