Just preinstalled 2024 via Xbox App (PC) and during installation got this message. What is this? I'm sorry if this discussed before

  • I've gone from installing the PMDG 737 to doing my last load of ATPL exams, thanks basically to the aircraft and the sim.  Thanks MSFS 2020!

  • I learned it in the 737-400 in FS98 hehe.  Funny to learn basic nav in a jet.  That's the flightsim way lol!

  • Just wondering why everybody is deleting msfs right now? Are you lacking disk space or what? I will keep msfs installed until my add-ons work perfectly in msfs2024. As I did with msfs when it was

It does, you just gotta do it correctly with an actual direct URL, not linking to an embedded image.

Erm, it does if you do it right . . . (picture has absolutely no relevance, just the first one I grabbed)

Got it. Thanks!

But what about my question? 😁

Given the developers that MS/AS have partnered with I don't think default means bad anymore.

The Inibuilds A330/Beluga, A321LR and A400M that all come with it look payware quality.

Yeah we will have to wait and see the end result - inibuilds tends to do better job with planes development however from my experience the realism factor for default aircrafts is lower down compared to their inhouse products. A300 vs A310 in MSFS is a very good example. Currently inbuilds are working on several products including new ones in house ones so I don't know how good default aircraft will be. The only way to find out is to test it out when releases.

Sorry, but no idea. Didn't think you could use MSFS offline, but maybe it's an Xbox thing? Have you tried Googling or maybe the official MS forum?

Man some of you people are really "tripping" uninstalling 2020 this early. It will always be a backup for me just like Legacy sims are like FSX.

So here we are! The day has come...... For most of us to be staring at a login queue for MSFS 2024.

For those of you who hastily uninstalled MSFS 2020 in anticipation for 2024.... How are we feeling today?

Still installed, was never gonna uninstall straight away until MSFS24 was up and running 😎 which as of right now remains un-purchased let alone installed 😆 I'm in no rush, will wait for the utter shambles to die down in the next day or so (maybe week...) then jump in. I feared this might happen and alas here we are!

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

When I found out that the title was to launch at the same hour globally I knew this was going to happen.

I logged into steam at midnight, and saw there was still no available download. You know- like every other title does- midnight release. After further investigation online, I find out that it is to be released at 8am pacific time. For everywhere around the world. Had they "layered" the release per time zone- for example midnight for every time zone, I believe these issues could have been avoided.

I'm glad I lived to this see this day.

The upside is I pre-purchased FS2024 yesterday and today I have the CL415 in MSFS.

I think that helped some...

I pre-purchased on Sep 29th. The CL415 was available the same day in MSFSF 2020 for me. I'm an airline junkie, so I have not even touched it to be honest.

You should try it- turn on the windshield wipers and go fly in same bad weather.
