It's only a tech alpha and not representative of the final..

Some people are just mad that they were catastrophically wrong, and extremely rude while doing so. And now some of these same people are doubling down on it. 🤑

Can you give us an example of someone being catastrophically wrong?

  • Well, it certainly is different from the tech alpha... it seems that one worked a whole lot better.

Remember those people boldly saying that while the rest of us were saying this had disaster written all over it?

Yeah, you can ignore them the next time.

What is the point of your post? Does it serve a useful purpose? Provide helpful information to those trying to wrap their heads around the sim?

Btw, I am now able to consistently load into the sim and can see the massive potential MSFS 2024 has.

Then, again, I'm a glass half full kind of guy.....

All I’m worried about is MS/Asobo reassigning hardware and other resources from MS2020 to MS2024 and we end up with two “overwhelmingly negative” simulators. Steams phrase, not mine.

Well, you for example...

It must be so frustrating for the devs / Jorg to drop in on threads like this, having explicitly and repeatedly told us it’s an alpha for telemetry sourcing, to say on the intro page for the download that it’s an alpha with many things missing and literally state it’s ‘solely for the purpose of telemetry’, to go as far as putting a warning that it’s an alpha just for telemetry purposes in the sim that you have to esc out of before you can use it, to go to all these lengths and still have people saying ‘it’s not ready for release’.

It frustrates the pants of me, and I haven’t gone to any of that effort to tell anyone it’s just an alpha for telemetry.

You again...

Good gravy heavens below, do you not understand the word ‘alpha’, or the phrase ‘solely for telemetry’?!

MS: ‘This is a tightly limited alpha solely for the purpose of gathering telemetry’

Avsim boomers: ‘Is this a release candidate to be used as a strong indication of the final product?’

@RobJC And was the tech alpha actually the same as the version just released?
