November 20, 20241 yr Hi, I'm having A LOT of issues with MS2024. One of them is that NVIDIA Control Panel and Geforce Experience recognize MS2024 (I can't manage the fps, that are crazy and so the elevated temperature, the filters for the colour, the contrast, and so on...). I don't know what to do.
November 20, 20241 yr Two suggestions, although I have installed but didn't yet start it for the 1st time: 1) Enable VSync in game and see if that makes a difference; 2) Use Riva Tuner to set the FPS you want, even without enabling VSync in sim; 3) Reinstall Nvidia drivers - get the latest version that was released this week meant for MSFS 2024,,, I hope you can get through it 😕 👍 Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

I'll do it right away. Greetings
November 20, 20241 yr Yeah, realized this as well: they release a driver specifically for MSFS2024 but in the nVIDIA Control Panel, MSFS2024 is not listed. Somehow ridiculous, like the whole release of this sim. Funny enough though that within nVIDIA Profile Inspector, the "Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024" is selectable for custom profiles... November 20, 20241 yr Author Hi, The only thing I've achieved is adjusting the fps with MSI Afterburner-RivaTuner. It's incredible that NVIDIA does not recognize MS2024! Greetings

November 20, 20241 yr " and so the elevated temperature " If you mean cpu temps, yes I see that too. Not a good thing. Also, fps is not up to what 2020 was, nor is it as good as the 2024 alpha was. But its not a big drop off. I may have to reduce LODs a bit under what I used in 2020 and the 2024 alpha. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. I tried many many times, but not result! Now, I'm afraid that the same will happen with MS2024. Greetings

BUT: at least now you can still use nVIDIA Control Panel the way you did before even with the nVIDIA App installed and also nVIDIA Profile Inspector still works. November 20, 20241 yr I had a problem with the nVidia app not allowing me to optimize MSFS2020 settings - in the end I left the page open and after an hour or so it changed. I am guessing it is just very slow to donwload the necessary data Not working for MSFS2024 yet Edited November 20, 20241 yr by TonyD 9800X3D + RTX 4080 + 64GB DDR5

And I'll keep my fingers crossed, because it was a mess last time I installed the new NIVIDIA app! Greetings

Thank you

November 20, 20241 yr Anyone had any luck adding mSFS24 to the nVidia App? I keep getting Access Denied and when I go through the (hell) of Security & Permissions via Explorer the exe file is not playing ball, says I have Full Control but clearly not so guessing this si why it can't be added to the nVidia app (PITA) Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)
