Still Missing Big Airports After 4 Years From MSFS 2020

Featured Replies

Altough it is 4 years since MSFS2020 released, there are big airports that are still missing.

For example LTFM İstanbul Airport which is a very big airport that should not be out of the list. This was not even in MSFS2020 and not in MSFS2024 now. Incredible !!!

Odd. Usually this is dependant on whether Bing has satelite data that is new enough to reflect whether an airport exists or has a changed layout.

I checked and the airport is visible in the bing imagery, so I wonder why it is missing in the sim.

I’d be very interested to see an overhead view of Manchester EGCC as the airport is currently having a major upgrade to Terminal 2. Is there a gate 112 for example?

I just changed airlines in APLV2 and went with Turkish Airlines. My first flight was from LTFM.  No taxiways, just runways, ridiculous. Downloading airport scenery from Flightsim.to.

It's really odd, because the 2024 Tech Alpha had a generic LTFM in it. Not sure why it's missing from the release version.

Though it did have some issues, like the jetways floating

CDG isn't missing from the sim. This thread is about airports missing completely from the sim.

Well it turned out that the secenery from Flightsim.to didn't work, because BATC didn't like it. Now I purchased some scenery from Simmarket. Hopefully, that will work.

Hey, did this end up working? I have the same problem with the freeware scenery. I dont really want to use my money on a payware one if that doesnt work either.

Yes, the payware works great.

The only issue I had with the scenery, is if you use Beyond ATC, it has to load the airport into the program before you start your flight. It takes a few minutes to load LTFM, because it is not optimised. Just be patient, and it will load eventually and everything works correctly.

Is Xi'an Xianyang International airport ZLXY included in msfs24?
