The fascinating thing is that MANY people complain about PMDG's new pricing model as being "much more expensive"! Where else can you get a Study Level modern tubeliner for $36...? The minimum cost of entry used to be $99...smh.

PMDG are a pricing outlier, though. What we're seeing from the established ESP tubeliner vendors , and other new ones like Fenix, is a price range of $65 (Fenix & iniBuilds) to $70-ish (JustFlight) through to $80-ish (Leonardo). So the MSFS Hi Fi teams are still in the "high price" category, and not too much less than what X-Plane tubeliner devs are charging.

A2A, however, are charging exactly the same in MSFS as they were in P3D, or about $50 USD per addon (with just one or two being $70 IIRC).

To be clear, A2A's pricing is entirely within reason for the products they're supplying. I.e., I consider them to be a "good value".

I agree !

  • For those not following the product closely, the 525 is feature complete in systems and circuit functionality, and bug free. We are adding new features (our update today added a performance calculator

  • Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I appreciate the opportunity to address it! The idea of a two-tiered release may seem appealing at first glance, but it’s not practical from a development

  • Just to add my thoughts, this is my first addon from Torquesim and I am very impressed. Tom compare it with, I have the 777v2, the King Air 350 and the Challenger as well and this one slots in nicely

Here is a video I think best profiles this aircraft that focus how this aircraft flies and the TDS GTN 750 Xi that will come later. This is what makes me want to get this aircraft.

Now we will just have to enjoy while we wait for the TDS GTN integration 🙂

In my hangar, waiting for a slot of desktop sim time along this weekend 😍

I remember when Goran first mentioned being involved in a new project ...

Is Goran still part of the dev team for the CJ 525 ?

Same here.

The TDS GTN is really a nice feature which is why some many were so excited with it came out for the other sim. But I am glad they are making for us as well.

No, Goran isn't involved in this one. 🙂 Just Hot Start and Leading Edge Simulations for him.

This looks amazing!

How does the CPU load for this compare to say the Default Citation X?

I will be interested in how resource hungry this bird is, before making a decision on making the purchase.  It sure does look good!

Spoiler

My specs:  AMD Ryzen 5 5600X @ 3.7 GHz, 32 GB 3200MHz DDR4, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 12 GB, 2TB SAMSUNG EVO Plus SSD M2, 2TB WD Black Gaming SSD M2, 8TB WD Black Gaming HDD, 4TB WD Black Gaming Ext HDD, Windows 10, X-Plane 12 + large quantity of 3rd party addons scenery & aircraft. Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo, Thrustmaster TFRP. It's an older machine but gets the job done quite nicely - smooth with no stutters!

I bought it about a week ago.

I have a 5 year old gaming rig (ryzen 2700x with an rtx 2080, 32gb ram, NVME).

It's very well optimized and it lives up to its billing in all regards.

Would buy again (which test many add-ons fail).

The false positive malware detection by Win Defender has also finally been fixed by MS, so users that install from now on will no longer be presented with a CJ 525 without gear and button interaction.

I forgot to exclude the XP12 folder, as I usually do, in my sim drive, so I was surprised when I first loaded the aircraft.

A visit to the X-Pilot forums gave me the solution, which I applied and worked, but meanwhile @Cameron XA kindly sent me a PM with the final info, after MS finally added the "suspect" files to Defender's whitelist.

I have several of your other products and plan on buying this one.

Are you at liberty to give any timeline on availability of the GTN and WX Radar? Thank you.
