May 4, 20251 yr Sorry to drag this old thread up, but, is this bird any good? What’s the general consensus?

May 5, 20251 yr I haven't been able to go through the details of such basic things as a simple takeoff 😕 For instance I miss proper trim setting for takeoff, when to enable the flight director (before / after TO?), how to properly set VS, etc... I did manage to power it using the GPU, and was even able to taxi and fly a short circuit, but for instance setting the weight & balance according to a Simbrief flightplan is something we have to do manually, pretty much as we would have to IRL if operating such a Jet... Setting the pitch trim for takeoff according to your W&B is something crucial because the aircraft is very pitch sensitive. Ajustar el ajuste de cabeceo para el despegue de acuerdo con su peso y equilibrio es algo crucial porque el avión es muy sensible al cabeceo. There is a take-off configurator in the latest version, isn't there ?

Probably it is not relevant, I don't know - I am trying to watch as muchg Xp12 and RW videos on the type as possible to try to find out how it's done... In my own opinion, I have admiration for the work of Steaven and Cooper (Torquesim); they are exceptionally skilled in their respective crafts, and I would wholeheartedly recommend their work. Furthermore, Cameron at X-Aviation is quite discerning about the add-ons he offers, and he is especially meticulous regarding the "Take Command" label. His commitment to quality is commendable. Other than that...😆 I'm pretty happy with the TorqueSim - I call it the "Goldilocks" addon. It's a biz jet that still feels a lot like a "Cessna" - in all the good ways. Its a great add-on - IF that particular cockpit & airframe suit your needs, and IF you intend to spend some time with it. If you just want a biz jet for speed and variety, I'd argue the AeroBask Phenom 300 is the better value, especially given the G1000 for avionics commonality across many add-ons.
