November 26, 20241 yr posted on the official forums. looks like they feel like major server issues are starting to get fixed “ We are pleased to see that so many players enjoyed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 over the weekend. The capacity issues we encountered at launch were tied to overwhelming interest and access to the online servers – completely separate from the simulator itself. The aviation experience that our trusted partner Asobo Studio created alongside other first party development teams is the best we have ever made. The team is very grateful for your patience and we will continue to embrace your feedback and improve the simulator for years to come. Blue skies ahead.“ Edited November 26, 20241 yr by JonathanC 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

November 26, 20241 yr That's all great but the sim is in beta stage. Default planes don't work as they should. Scenery bugs and glitches. (i.e. floating jetways) Planes dropping through the scenery. (Taxiing on the airport bridge made the plane go through it and fall down) It feels like Inibuilds planes are saving FS2024 which I am shocked to be honest. I was never a fan of them for Fs2020 but they made me change my mind and I absolutely love their FS 2024 planes (All the Airbuses, A400M) A lot of performance problems, etc... The sim needs 6 months or more of more fixes. However, I have to say, the enthusiasm and excitement is thee. Past the bugs and glitches, you can see the improvements and how better it is than FS2020, but the glitches are destroying the hype. Edited November 26, 20241 yr by Aviator_2024

Or do whatever makes you happy. If you want 2024 to be a failure, sure, that’s perfectly fine. I’m not offended, this isn’t my baby. November 26, 20241 yr I suspect it will be a classic in time. It's not even a week since that fateful hour it was released, ha ha. Mike Beckwith

No you did not post anything new that we already knew days ago. Not here to offend any one but the clutter repetitive threads needs to stop.

This statement was posted on the MSFT forums about an hour ago. Maybe a little longer. About cluttered, opinion only repetitive posts that add zero value, I totally agree. November 26, 20241 yr You guys version must be stuck on FS 2023, I'm playing FS 2024 and I'm having a lot of fun. Sure some planes don't work right, don't fly those. As far as the other bugs go, yes night lighting is screwy, some places worse than others. Otherwise, it's a SUPER word not allowed load of fun, you're missing out. I am not a Koolaid drinker, the first 3 days I was like man this is terrible and I had to spit it out like vinegar. After the textures started loading correctly, I was like WOW --- EWWWW ----- AHHH, this is a lot better. I think they are heading in the right direction, and I'm glad I didn't have to wait another 6 months to play it just so they can fix bugs I can avoid. The only downside is I'm using Standard Edition through Gamepass, so going to have cough up the money to buy the Super Deluxe Extra Gimme-Those-Planes Version. I was in FS20 as early as the Alpha and I don’t think people remember exactly what state that and the ultimate product were shipped in. It took two years, give or take, for decent stuff to start coming out and QoL to be good enough for me to switch.

That's why when I look at 2024 (now that I have zero server issues, I'm aware others aren't as lucky), and see how detailed and performant it already is.. and it will only improve from here. Just like 2020 did over the past 4 years. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
