I'd hope they focus on more important issues like fixing the broken mouse, fixing the broken EFB, fixing the broken Toolbar, fixing the broken cameras, fixing the broken Xbox controller support first, but each to their own 😄 Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

Yes but the locals get upset when I mention VeeRrr 😆, either way they're game breaking bugs regardless of whether they're for VR or not. Just like SU7 it's a shambles and clearly neglected. But for VR users, the broken mouse is laughably bad. Especially after it was said numerous times that VR was a "platform" for them now. Never did I think something this simple would be this borked on release. Complaints aside, I'm still having fun just messing around for now, and I can definitely see the major potential. I have faith the major issues will be ironed out...but it will take some time.

It took two years, give or take, for decent stuff to start coming out and QoL to be good enough for me to switch Likewise. It's still very early days of this new sim. Though I'd have hoped that MFS24 (server connectivity issues aside) would have released in a more refined state than it apparently has. Unlike four years ago, MFS24 is leveraging off a stable base. November 26, 20241 yr To be honest, that statement on the official forums sounds disingenuous to me. This is a cloud-based application by design - the server environment is inextricably linked to the simulator performance almost certainly. I am optimistic that the simulator will get better - they have no choice, honestly, and FS2020 did eventually become really good even after its launch issues - but continuing to wave away the issues here as "just overwhelming demand" is kind of tone deaf and just makes people more angry. - Kevin Windows 11 / Ryzen 7 9800X3D / MSI RTX-4080 Super 16G Ventus 3X / Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite WiFi 7 / Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro / 64GB Lexar ARES Gen2 RGB DDR5 6000Mhz CL30 RAM / Dell Alienware AW3418DW WQHD 3440x1440 GSync / Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 2TB (OS) & 860 EVO 4TB SDD / WD Caviar Black 4TB HDD / EVGA Supernova 850 G5 PSU / Be Quiet Light Base 600 LX case / Virpil Warbird base with Constellation Alpha grip / MFG Crosswind rudder pedals / Virtual-Fly TQ6+ throttle quadrant / Winwing Orion HOTAS F-18 Throttle / Virpil TCS+ collective base with Hawk-60 grip / Saitek Trim Wheel / Saitek Radio and Switch Panels / Winwing Combat Ready Panel / Tobii 5

True but interest in anything falls off with time. Think like a business for a sec and not a simmer. Large upfront investment in what eventually would be an over commitment of resources is not smart business in the long run. It’s a calculated risk, probably went worse than expected for them on the projection, but still within budget costs. At then end, everything is about money, it’s good to remember that…

There is no way so many 2020 addons work almost seamlessly in 24 unless there is a very large codebase from 2020 still there which to be fair was a great code base to improve upon it just seems "right now" they are 1 step forward 2 steps back still but I am sure they will resolve it, the question for me is will I ever be able to continue a flight with an internet connection drop. If every drop "pauses" the sim and you literally can't fly then it remains to be seen how frequently it happens, especially if you are doing long hauls. That is an aspect of 2020 they have done away in 2024 with the streaming architecture they have adopted which to me is a huge regression. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
