November 26, 20241 yr Can I install Bravo Throttle Quadrant and Yoke to FS2024? Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"
November 26, 20241 yr Yes. Works just fine 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
November 26, 20241 yr It does work fine once you get the software installed. I had to disconnect mine to allow me to sign into xbox. The cursor wasn't working to allow me to enter my user id and password. This was after the Asobo patch that supposedly fixed sign in cursor issues. The patch didn't work for me so unplugging it took care of it. Have had no issues since that very frustrating event.
November 26, 20241 yr Is it possible to have the Bravo have the lights working or would I need other software? "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma

November 26, 20241 yr Author Thanks to all. Good news. I am going to buy it. The four main editions are Standard, Deluxe, Premium Deluxe, and Aviator Edition. Which edition I should select? Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"
November 26, 20241 yr I also just found a post on Aerosoft's forum about getting the native Honeycomb AFC_Bridge utility for lights to work. You just have to drop the AFC_Bridge folder from your MSFS 2020 community folder into the 2024 one, and then copy the exe.xml file from 2020's settings folders to 2024's and edit the path in it to reflect the 2024 community folder location. This assumes of course you had the utility installed in the first place and owned 2020. I'll be trying this soon once I get to the "set up my controllers" phase of my 2024 install. At the moment I'm on the "tune all the graphics settings for best fps vs visuals" step which is gonna be a process as always. November 26, 20241 yr A wise choice buying Honeycomb alpha and bravo. Their pedals are more controversial. To sign in to MS, I just reach down and flip a few switches until the courser will stay in the box. Unplugging might be easier for some. The cord that runs from the yoke wheel to the main box is coiled and they say it will pull out the connection on the wheel eventually and mess it up. The cure is a 18 inch flat and limp cord to replace that cord. And a couple zip ties to hold that cord after you fold the cord. YT has videos showing. I don't know how big a problem this is, but I bought a cheap flat cord when I bought the yoke. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Unless you really want all the really old classic style airplanes that come in the Aviator edition, I'd skip that one especially if you own 2020 and bought a lot of those planes when they came out as "famous flyer" releases because those will transfer over eventually (or should). Deluxe doesn't seem like a good value for the money, or at least 320 Sim Pilot didn't think so in his video overview of the 4 versions and I agree with him. I went with Prem Deluxe like I did for 2020. I wanted to make sure I had the 787 and some of the stuff in the 2024 version that's new looks interesting to me. I was under the impression our 2020 premium deluxe planes & Airports (and planes we also bought) will port over for 2024 eventually? Or am I completely wrong? HoneyComb Alpha/Bravo work just fine. I would delete pretty much all buttons mapped in the sim as I have found several...dozens of conflicts with keyboard, mouse and HC Alpha/Bravo. Not their fault though. Thanks for the advice on the lights! Yeah I believe all the 2020 Prem Deluxe stuff should port over if it's compatible. There are new planes in 2024's prem deluxe though which is why I bought it 🙂 I definitely have 2020's KSFO from Prem Deluxe but I don't actually know if it's due to buying 2024. I know there's only a couple actual new airports in 2024 so I don't know if I'm seeing KSFO because it's also in 2024 Prem Deluxe or if it would have shown up if I had just bought Standard.
