Msfs 2020 updates

Featured Replies

Sorry if it has been asked before.

But will they continue to update 2020 for while yet?

As i dont plan on moving to 2024 for a long long while as i am quite content and happy with how i have my sim lookingsnd set up.

Thanks

Mike

Yes. They will keep on updating MSFS 2020.

And is it just me or MSFS 2020 is running more smoothly lately? Perhaps less "stressful" server?

Yes running very well for me also.

Thou i did notice a slight issue with perhaps the servers.

When msfs 2024 was released.

Does it impact ms2020 servers also?

Mike

They said they will, but after the poor start to MSFS24 I wouldn't be surprised if it's an All Hands On Deck scenario (as it should be IMO) to fix the current problems (of which there's literally hundreds), so it might be a while before SU16 turns up for example.

Totaly agrre! 100% pure smoothness and soft as silk for the moment! Flew the regular morningflight ESMS-ESSB a few hours ago in BRA Fenix 319, and i was stunned by the extremely smooth and soft ride! Never experienced performance like this in 2020 before! 👍👍👍

MSFS 2020 is the only sim I have ever owned for the last three decades, when I can just start a flight, fly to my destination, and land without one issue of any kind, no CTDs, no stutters, no lockups, etc... Every flight is flawless, wouldn't trade that for anything.

Some of us have paid for both, some of us have an inferior product released just last week that needs fixing ASAP. You'll need to speak to Asobo about priorities, ultimately they're the ones working on both Sims.

Part of me, as much as I'd like to see the UK bing maps not burnt fields, hopes they just leave MSFS 2020 alone. Mines working perfectly and I'm playing it more than ever right now with the renewed interest in the franchise.

So yeah, please leave it alone, don't want to see any excuses to bork it so people move to 2024...

Speaking of maps, which maps are 2024 using, the original Bing maps, which are used in 2020 ( unless you use the ap enhancement mod), or the new Bing Maps? If they are using the same Bing maps as in 2020, has anyone tried the Map Enhancement Mod with 2024?

They've said they'll keep supporting MSFS until 2028

Does that mean after 2028, we cannot connect to its server?
