December 7, 20241 yr Well, I really don't know but truth is it worked like a charm in my setup... Since I started using FS 2024 I have only been with TAA, but after reading the OP I decided to follow that youtuber video, then decided to try with FS 2024 what I had done with FS 2020 and used for a while before reverting to TAA. Since I didn't recall how to enable the Frame Generation option in FS 2024, because by default it doesn't show since I have an RTX 3060 Ti only, I made a post thgis morning and received some good help and hints from some of you, followed it, used DLSS Swapper to update the dlss version to the latest available (3.8.10), then went to NexusMods and first downloaded and tried my luck with the wrong version of "dlssg-to-fsr3", then but two of our forum members showed me the right version to DL (Universal), and from there on, only Success 🙂 When I started to investigate the blurryness it was there, plus other artifacts, even when instead of DLAA I opted for only "Optimized". After doing the recommended modification inside UserOpt.cfg, and starting the sim, VOILÀ !!!! it worked just as "announced". Yet, after reading a few posts above I feel a "bit stupid" 😞 Guess it's back to TAA for me too..., and half refresh rate... (30 FPS in my case). Sure: dlssg-to-fsr3 (Replace Nvidia DLSS-G Frame Gen with AMD FSR 3 Frame Gen) at Modding Tools - Nexus Mods You need an account (free) there. I have a 3080Ti Sure: didn't recall the original tutorial, but just found this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnKm9vxCRs4 and... don't forget to enable hardware acceleration under the Win11 Graphics settings (Advanced), and restart your rig before starting the sim. December 7, 20241 yr Ghosting is the only reason I don't use DLSS. It's unbearable, much worse than any FPS lost. But if that "fix" makes me have worse FPS than with TAA, I don't really see any benefit (except for getting rid of the shimmering which is very present in TAA at 2k) For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

December 8, 20241 yr I use DLSS set to quality. I set my resolution to 6k, and terrain level of details to 300. By and large, my FPS stay in the 30s. However, I do get the flurry panel. TAA is too tasking on my computer If I increase Terrain Level of Details. I don’t like flying in mediocre resolution and low graphics settings.

I set secondary scaling to 1.5 then used DLSS performance. Compared to default usercfg.opt setting, I had a massive performance hit (3840x2160). This is not with the latest DLSS versions though (as I just reinstalled 2024). I'm using preset F (nvidia profile inspector). I think some people have got it working without the performance loss though e.g. @RJC68 - but I'm not sure how they've done it. EDIT: I just updated to the latest DLSS versions and FPS increased from 108 to 116. Not a massive increase, but it's probably significant. With TAA I'm getting 102 FPS. DLSS+DLAA: 101 FPS. No, there's still a massive performance hit with secondary scaling, even with DLSS 3.8.10. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
