Yes, but 'Dhara' is how residents of Dublin 4 and certain Home Counties in England pronounce it 🙃

We just shut down the our construction site early and went home. It's not worth the risk with this one it seems, something we're normally used to here on the Atlantic coast of Ireland!

I’m far enough inland to avoid the worst gusts but it will still be windy. My record is 65mph when a squall line passed through nearly fiveyears ago.

I’m hoping the Everton v Liverpool match at lunchtime isn’t too badly affected.

Pressure now dropping rapidly so it’s on its way.

The Telecommunications and (mostly) power Networks are going to get trashed tomorrow - so hopefully your broadband connections hold up and you can enjoy flying in the storm.

I'll be flying out of Briz (EGGD) after some turbo work on Zwift early doors.

It's likely to be called off, especially with it being a noon kickoff, Plymouth v Oxford and Cardiff v Watford games have already been called off and they were due to kickoff at 3PM.

Edit. Liverpool is expected to get 67 MPH gusts during the game, it's just not worth the risk. Liverpool are in an Amber weather warning area, if anyone was injured, the Club and the FA would be liable to face litigation.

I agree. I think with it being a derby Everton will delay any announcement until tomorrow morning. The ref will perhaps make the decision.

Imagine flying debris hitting someone on their way to the match. Or even worse something hitting a player. Complicated because of TV coverage.

Everton v Liverpool match postponed.

Highest gust overnight just 37mph. The centre of the low passed north of Manchester and is now over Lincolnshire. Winds will strengthen this morning.

141km/h (88mph) recorded here in Galway last night at 11PM. 

Dublin arrivals are starting to look fun already on FR24! METAR says it's gusting to 45KTS still.

87 km/h gusts predicted in Guernsey, today.

Heard some very powerful sudden gusts last night.

Flights are all cancelled at Guernsey airport.

With strong crosswinds at Manchester the Emirates A380 gave up after two go-arounds and diverted to … Frankfurt! 🤣 Great for the passengers. Schiphol would have been a more logical choice.
