December 10, 20241 yr Moderator Excellent. Thanks for the heads up 👍! I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZ, CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11
December 11, 20241 yr I get no rain effect on the windshield at all with the Premium A300 for FS2024. Can anyone confirm this? My windshield settings are High. When I select Fenix A320, there are rain drops on every window in the cockpit. How can it be not implemented for it for a payware plane.
December 11, 20241 yr It brings a lot of questions: * is the premium upgrade worth it? * will the free updated version still be maintened in the future of will they concentrate on the msfs24 premium? It's not that the upgrade is very expensive even more if you bought the A300 during one of their sale.

Though it really depends on if you value what the feature set provides. The trailer didn't really sell it well but the topic post goes more-indepth with what you get with premium.

Sounds like it might be a sim issue, not aircraft Edited December 11, 20241 yr by Tuskin38
December 11, 20241 yr Author Is the aircraft freezing the sim completely after 30 seconds to a minute for anyone else? Only happens when spawning parked, if I spawn on the runway it's fine. Edited December 11, 20241 yr by Tuskin38
December 11, 20241 yr No, not here @Tuskin38 Spawning on parkings work as they should. But the iniBuilds bug, that after using an iniBuilds addon, the sim freezes, when you want to go back to main menu is present. You have to kill the sim then via task manager. But flights work flawlessly here Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
December 11, 20241 yr Commercial Member Hi. Glad to hear you're all enjoying the update. As Rich noted on our discord server, we're aware of the rain FX and investigating a workaround while we wait for a more elegant solution. Additionally, the sim lockup on exit is due to how the core networking API handles certain requests. It's another area we have identified as needing a server-side fix hence why we disclosed needing to hard-kill the process in TM. Despite that, we'll continue to refine the product so it meets your expectations and offers hours of enjoyment! Edited December 11, 20241 yr by IniSteve grammar and clarity

That's a major step back from when they first released the MSFS A300. That's disappointing. I remember when the company line was that the update "would arrive in Late 2024 as a paid expansion" 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

If I spawn at any parking the sim will freeze with in 30 seconds to a minute, but If I spawn on the runway it's fine. I saw a couple other people report it on the Discord there is a support thread open there. apparently fsuipc-ivar-module might be causing the A300 parking freezing. I'll test later after this flight Edited December 11, 20241 yr by Tuskin38
