It's interesting.  I am wondering if it is the military/contractor testing new technology, a foreign power testing our responses or gathering intel, or someone or several people with plenty of money pranking us.

Larry's suggestion on page 1 sounds plausible. Luis Elizondo also suggested the same. I guess that now people know about this phenomenon, members of the public are sending their drones up too.

One has been captured, here is a picture of it being transported for evaluation.

That's not a UFO!  That's a weather balloon.

So... where can I get me one of those?

What about those videos where there a dozen or so swarming around, apparently randomly helter skelter? Would the government take chances, they look like dangerous flight pattern swarms?

Random pattern suggests that drone enthusiasts are sending their drones up to join in the fun and do some mystery drone identification. If they are a nuisance, I guess the only option is anti-drone tech or tracking down where the operator is located.

 You forgot the caption!  From the best of my memory:

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

I'm beginning to think the real problem is that the public is starting to get into the act.  Regular aircraft are being targeted by lasers  (possibly someone's Christmas decorations), people are flying their own drones in the area.  There's a report of a drone getting sucked into a jet engine, unknown if it's one of the "UFOs" or a civilian drone, and this resulted in an airport being shut down for a while.  I saw one video of what were apparently tracers being shot at a drone.  When civilians decide to start messing with "UFO" drones, some legit aircraft will be affected.

Has anyone familiar with the tech looked on Skyvector.com to check for restricted flight areas?  There's a separate display for drones.  Do any of the areas correspond to the current "UFO" problem?

I saw a video once, don't remember where, that said part of The Great Reset would be a "holographic" alien invasion.  Well, our drone technology appears to be far ahead of our holographic technology.  Or not... a holographic image could be made to do anything in defiance of physics and wouldn't show up on radar.

"We have no freakin' idea what these things are, but don't worry about them.  They're totally harmless."   Uh... wut?

OK, how about telling us, "It's a training exercise for our drone operators."  Even if they're "training" to find nuclear material, which they don't need to mention.  "Nothing to see here, just enjoy the light show.  Please don't interfere with out drones."

Maybe they're not looking for nuclear material.  Best case they're gauging our reactions.  Worst case they're pushing us to see how far they can go before we revolt and start shooting down drones.  "The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street."

That's what I said above. How tempting must it be for drone owners to send there's up to check out the other drones, join the fun.

The media make it worse. Just seen a video where a news outlet was claiming what appeared to be an out of focus star was some kind of mystery object. 🙄
