If I need to know what time it is wherever I am I just have to look around and there will be a clock on the wall. I do have a Sharp Atomic Clock in my living room. I never have to set it or bother changing from standard time to daylight savings time with it. It also has an indoor-outdoor thermometer. Everything I need to know at a glance. Noel I agree, Noel! That's not futuristic. This is... It'll only cost you 3.5 million of your American dollars. Or what about a Regera? Edited December 28, 20241 yr by martin-w

December 28, 20241 yr This has everything I need when I wake up in the morning. The time, the date, the day of the week, and the indoor and outdoor temperatures. December 28, 20241 yr Administrators Atomic Clock....OMG! there's an atomic bomb inside! A tiny bit of a deception. It should read..."Syncs with Atomic Clock" based in Fort Collins, Colorado. All based on the vibrations of a Cesium atom! Very accurate. Charlie AronAVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-RegistrarJust going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. December 29, 20241 yr When I was a youngster one could identify the make of an automobile a block away. "Look over there! A Lincoln Continental?" "Where?" "In front of the church." And there's a Studebaker up the block!" or "Check out that Ford Fairlane across the street." Today I have to see the emblem or read the make. They look so much alike. Probably because they are all designed using the same CAD program. Anybody here remember the Ford - Chevy wars? Sometimes they erupted into fist fights (nobody carried guns in those days). December 29, 20241 yr The above is a 1966 Corvette Stingray. This also reminds me of Ed “Big Dady” Roth, who was involved with hot rod art (drawings and vehicles during that time period). His version of a Stingray: Ed “Big Daddy” Roth

Did you notice that all three of those hyper cars looked alike? 😄 A lot of modern cars have fewer differences between them than older cars had differences between model years. To tell them apart I feel like an entomologist having to count hairs on a bug's abdomen to determine it's species. Hook Edited December 29, 20241 yr by LHookins Larry Hookins Oh! Don’t have a clue…cars don’t have a “personality” nowadays.
