3d experience now in vista-heads up...

Recommended Posts

I have the same problem. Even if you switch 3d off Shift/alt/- you still get the problem. I must admit though that I don't really notice it with my specs on, its just when I turn it off.

No, I guess the 3D effect make up good for the AA problem and as you say you don't notice it that much but I do notice it when in spot view and zooming in close on the a/c.Not a big problem considering the 3D effect you get in return but still it would be nice if it could be fixed.

>Vulcan and Gerhard,>>So are you saying you can use DDD drivers for FS9 as well? Hello Danzian,Vulcan reported that the frame rates of FS9 take a massive hit. This was reason enough for me not to try the driver as my system is not up to scratch and it will be some time before I can upgrade. Regards,Gerhard

If you buy the tridef 3d experience for $50 you do get some other games (and it says more will be added), 3d google earth, and a media player that will 3d photos/videos. I ended up buying this package after seeing my photos in 3d.http://www.tridef.com/3d-experience/http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/1b5baf...b9f427f694g.jpgMy blog:http://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/

Guest incisal flyer

Slipstream, is that a 22 inch widescreen or 4:3 and what specific monitors did you go with? What is the resoluiton the 22 inch inch and is the image stretched at all? Any chance you could post a photo of your setup? I was thinking of doing 3 19 inch monitors with a triple head to go because that supports the native resoluiton of the monitors and then combining it with Track IR Pro and fenzel lenses. Would be interested in any help and happy flying!Incisal Flyer

Could I ask what size lenses you intend using before I answer your question?

I had to go into the registry and reset a bit to get the 3d nvidia drivers to work-on guru3d.com they explain what you have to do-I'll try to find the link if you don't a little later.... Just found it:This Stereo Beta driver is the latest addition.it's possible you will need to make this registry adjustment to get the drivers to work: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARENVIDIA CorporationGlobalNvCplApiPolicies] "ContextUIPolicy"=dword:00000001 If missions make fs a game-how come I can't get my flying partner who has every rating and about 3500 hours to get past them? :-)http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/1b5baf...b9f427f694g.jpgMy blog:http://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/

Sorry-I didn't copy it completely:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARENVIDIA CorporationGlobalNvCplApiPolicies] "ContextUIPolicy"=dword:00000001 e.g. change it to "1".I have an 8800gt card and got them to work.As far as missions-I find they add more reality. Real flying often does not go like you expect, and you reacting to unplanned situations and making the right choice is what really makes you a pilot. Missions afford this and also add something for everyone-from being game like to very real...The DDD program is a alternate media player. I haven't played yet much with the video part, but have viewed lots of my pictures with it.My shots from the Grand Canyon look awfully good in 3d!http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/1b5baf...b9f427f694g.jpgMy blog:http://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/

No stereo drivers since the 7 series unfortunately. nVidia seem to be in cahoots with Zalman, a Korean company, who make 3d monitors (you require polarizer glasses). They have produced new drivers for that company recently, but nothing for the normal nvidia consumer. I think the problem lies on the fact that, in order for shutter glasses to work effectively, you require a CRT monitor, or an expensive DLP projector, and of course 99 percent of us have normal LCD monitors. The vast majority of gamers are not happy with just anaglyph either, so nvidia have just binned support for now. The zalman monitors are excellent, however, expensive and as far as I recall FSX only works in windowed mode for now. And anyway, I would have to buy 3 of them, way too expensive for me. Info below.http://www.zalman.co.kr/ENG/product/Product_Read.asp?idx=217Some DIY jobs here (long thread) including PLANAR set-up.http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtop...aded&show=&st=&
