I've found that adjusting the colours using the Nvidia "Filter colour setup" seems to greatly reduce any ghosting and allows me to run with 100% separation. I don't think there's a similar option with the DDD drivers though.

Yes, that's the kind of setting I wish there was for the DDD drivers as well...maybe in an upcoming patch...About the Nvidia drivers, do you get a stable and good 3D effect using them and what about AA in FSX?Maybe I'll give them another try some day.

For those intrerested in the IZ3d drivers, they are free and can be downloaded here: http://www.iz3d.com/t-dcdriver.aspx the 1.07 seems to perform much better than the 1.08 beta. You'll need to modify the config file to use them with anaglyph as follows: To change the NSMode, open the file called 'Config.xml' in the C:/Program Files/ iZ3D Driver directory with a text editor (Notepad works) Scrowl down and find the entry "NSMode" Simply change the number to enable the driver. For regular Anaglyph mode, change it to this: , for optimized anaglyph (which I use) use the number 6. Save the file. Use the appropriate hotkeys to change the separation and convergance values. I use approx +11.9 separation and -1.48 for convergance. Here's a link to their forums: http://forum.iz3d.com/ for more info.Hope they well work for you.Regards, Kendall#1: [email protected]/Coolermaster HyperTX2 Gigabyte P35-DS3L 4GB Ballistix Tracers PC6400 EVGA 8800GT - 174.74 beta Seagate 250GB 7200.11 CH Yoke/Pedals/Saitek Throttle Dual Monitor: Dell 2405/1905 #2: Dell 8400 3.2 H.T. 3GB PC4200 - X800XT Diamond Xtreme/Logitech X-530's

Hi Kendall,Just tried the IZ3D drivers with FS9 and XP and have a couple of questions.Where do you get the values of separation and convergance from?I cannot find the values in Config.xml nor UserProfile.xml.Do you set separation via hot keys or the slider on the control panel? When I pan round either in spot view or VC I get multiple images, a bit like mouse trails, do you get this?Video card GF8800 GT 512MB. Using 174.74 drivers and nHancer.Frame rates are fine BTW.Thanks

Hiya Vulcan, The hotkeys are listed on the 1st page of the control center. The +/- keys on the keyboard number pad are for separation and shift + the +/- keys on the number pad are for convergence. The values should display on the screen. Also, there's additional info in the user manual, found on the driver download page. Here's another good site for anything and everything 3d: http://www.mtbs3d.com/. Some good forums there too. Just to give you guys a heads up, there's new polarized monitors that give full 3D color (no red/blue) from IZ3D...http://www.iz3d.com/t-22monitor.aspxBasically two LCD monitor screens stacked and polarized and the polarizing glasses give you the 3D effect...Not sure how they're doing on FS support at this point in time...

Oh my freaking Heavens.. As soon as I realized I had a couple of those card board 3D glasses (blue and Red) I downloaded the DDD Driver and WOW.. I am blow away!I have a Dell 24" monitor and its spectacular. The only issue I have is..the Red colors are dull when I view via in 3D. Its like in the R G B of colors the Red tube is kind of dimmed out.Anotehr thing I noticed was when I am in the VC or Spt view the aircraft is like in 3D but not the mountains (when I fly close by). However, when I view without the the VC ..just the outside view, the Mountains and everything else is in 3D. The depth perception I mean.Well..anyway.. Now, I am thinking I should get the Matrox and 3 19" LCD instead of the 24" dell!Hmm.....Thanks Geof!MannyPS: I just flew around Mike's Everest.. WOW. Its amazinghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/188185.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/188186.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/188187.jpg

Has anyone tried this with some of the cheap polarized glasses? Is it any better or worse than the red/blue deal?

polarized glasses only work for polarized image projection, not for red/blue imagery

I thought I remembered an option in some of the older Nvidia stereo drivers for polarized lenses. But, at my age, I could be mistaken. ;> I have some cheap cardboard polarized glasses and thought the image might be better without the color issues introduced by anaglyph glasses.

for polarizing you need either a projector or screen that is capable of polarizing the light, a standard monitor won't do that AFAIK

I bought the ddd drivers now. Great stability issues but managed to load some flights with different aircraft. running with the settings posted earlier in this thread.Performs a bit as I expected it does mess up the colours quite a bit. But that is not the biggest problem. I have severr ghosting much worse then I was used to my old page flip shutter glasses. I can
