Its grayed out in my settings and I cant turn it off.. I must have been confused and thought you have a signature with your specs in it. You obviously have not, so that must have been another person. :-) The greyed-out Raytracing switch is really strange. I have no clue. But switching Raytraced Shadows off teally did the trick. Hopefully someone here knows why the switch is not working for you. Edited January 14, 20251 yr by crimplene

January 15, 20251 yr I was somewhat hopeful that the dynamic setting would work well. Probably explains at least partly why so many ppl are seeing blurred textures (I did as well before I turned it off). We do have AutoFPS though, which works extremely well IMO. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Yeah, I'm disappointed in that. If a feature creates more problems than it solves, it needs work. i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

I replied to the OP and gave the OP a huge hint on where to find the source. I specifically mentioned Jorg and I even said the last Twitch Q&A. The hint was so anybody who wanted to dig for the source had a place to start and it was narrowed to within the last Twitch Q&A. In the end, I’m glad that I didn’t waste time looking for the source. Few people acknowledged or thanked Kernel32 for providing the source. It just makes everyone in this thread who clamored for a source, then Kernel32 provided the source, look ungrateful for Kernel32’s work. We've seen and heard the source...but not sure about the explanation of "flighting" You are saying this means a beta will start eventually? 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.

"Flighting" has always meant beta testing in the Twitch Q&A. They use the term "flighting" to refer to a public open beta. I don't know why they use that term, but they have been using it for the last several years during the Twitch Q&A. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

Screaming "QA is the issue and they failed in QA" just shows a serious lack of understanding how complex projects work. QA is just one role in software development that needs to work properly. But besides QA, there are 5 or more other roles/dimensions, that can have the exact same impact and which, if done improperly, result in the exact same outcome of the software project. And if you look at the project just from the outside, you can impossibly tell whether QA or one of the others is lacking. In order to make an educated guess, whether QA failed, you should be able to name the other elements of a succesful software release. Can you do that? Also, the outcome is always a function of project complexity. And regarding complexity, a product like MSFS 2024 probably beats any other consumer software out there. And not by a small margin.
