I am a pizza fanatic. I MUST say, that all the pizza I ate in Canada was superb and absolutely delicious. We even went to a place in Quebec City that gave us Scissors to cut our pizza. THAT was a wonderful experience and the pizza was better than any I ever ate in New York City!

New York and Chicago style pizza is not the real thing, but Americanized, like a lot of Italian cuisine. January 16, 20251 yr I totally agree that the very best pizza is in Italy. I have been to Venice, Sicily, Sorrento, Capri, Sardinia and Rome. I have enjoyed pizza in every one of those cities and regions (Sardinia). It was all so fresh and unlike anything in the United States or Canada. My very favorite pizza was the one I had in Sicily. However, in the U.S., New York City and Philadelphia, Pa., have the best pizza for MY tastes.
