My worst experience comes from being click-baited into watching a story video, poorly written by AI, illustrated by AI (does this guy's hand really have 7 fingers?) and narrated by a fairly well done artificial voice. I don't search for political topics, so I don't get summaries praising a party I don't support. I'd be a little less in favor of AI if that were the case. OK, so I googled "how do I turn generative AI off in google search" and got two useful bits of info: Quote Search Labs | AI Overview You can't completely turn off generative AI in Google Search, but you can use workarounds. Workarounds Use a Chrome extension: You can use the Hide Google AI Overviews extension to remove AI-generated summaries from your search results. You can also try the Bye Bye, Google AI extension.
