Also SO much time after release and it's only 50% out, there's no Pratt & Whitney model out there. I clicked the installer, saw a patch as well as a new installer, et voila. Went to find the patch notes and that's what I found. I assume what you observed to be correct.
January 23, 20251 yr FADEC still fights a lot during an ILS approach, i guess they didn't touch that at all. Annoying to say the least. The sounds are indeed a bit better, but there are samples which are poorly cut and sound annoying as they are noticeably badly produced. Come on TFDi, put some more effort in this bird, it deserves it! January 23, 20251 yr At least the Simbrief integration has finally arrived. There's still a bunch of fixes for other things still outstanding, but I can survive. So far I have done a max flight of around 5.5 hrs without any issues minus the update that has just arrived but have not installed yet. I hope at some stage they will be able to sort the VRAM issues out (does not affect me so much with a 12Gb graphics card installed) and some of the FMS issues (ALT Fuel not working). If so, try removing/renaming PDK2D2D.dll in the panel folders. TFDi suggested this in a ticket I opened because of an unrelated issue I had (displays blanked out when using SGSS), but I found out it also reduced VRAM usage considerably. Now I'm having a lot of fun with the MD-11. I still don't know what did I lose by removing this DLL. As always, backup first. YMMV. I still don't know what did I lose by removing this DLL. That file is apparently used in the render process of the gauges - likely to be DirectX related. Is there any change in quality/appearance of the gauges you noticed by removing this file? This file was also used in the TFDi 717. January 25, 20251 yr Hi, So I have tried out the new Simbrief integration, and it loads the waypoints but based on a couple of tries it did not appear to load in the Alternate destination, the Cost Index, Cruise Altitudes and the flight number from Simbrief. Waypoints were inserted. Can anyone else confirm this behavior? Thx!
