WinWing 737 FMC & PMDG -700 Incompatible

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

So despite their product page saying word for word "Streaming Display Mode displays PFP 3N (Panel of Flight Plan) data of any 737 aircraft from any game or professional simulation software running on the Windows platform", this is not the case. It does not work with any other 737 model other than the PMDG 737-800 (according to chat support). I'm unfamiliar with the WinWing software, is there a way to program it so we can make it work? Similar to Spad.next?

I'm sure I've read somewhere that there's an active group of genius's that create profiles for Winwing devices so that you can use Mobiflight to get them working. With any luck they'll come through wh

After receiving my PFP today, I am really disappointed to learn of the incompatibility.  The hardware is beautiful, but definitely not a great first purchase impression of WinWing.  It appears that it

Guess this might be the same for the MCDU for Airbus then?

Only A320? For now

Have you tried updating the SimAppPro software (in the pain-in-the-butt way WinWing recommend - unplugging all USB peripherals apart from k/b and mouse and relevant WinWing hardware)?

Yeah, I updated it that way and still no luck. Their support said it’s only compatible with the -800. So that’s why I’m looking into a way to do it ourselves. Doesn’t seem very promising though.

Funny thing is, even the Airbus MCDU says it supports the PMDG 737-800 in the WinWing software notes... They really are leaving the Boeing crowd in the dirt.

I'm guessing that they will eventually update the firmware to include all versions of the 73x. It makes zero sense to support just one variant when they all share the same FMC.

Weird, doesn't seem to support anything but -800 pax for me, the BCF or other freighter doesn't register.

Also has issues with the winds page and descent forecast page as loading winds never shows the execute lighted button

That was my guess too, until I spoke with support. They stated they will consider it but as of right now, it is not on their timeline for upcoming models. Only the Asobo 737 and the iFly Max 8 are.

Is it possible to create a Mobiflight profile for it? They work well with the Winwing FCU.

Wow that is bizarre and disappointing...and really dumb?  Why on earth would they not support all of the PMDG 737's?

Yeah its ridiculous.  FFS its the same pages across all of them, not like its extra work

Just wondering the same, what would be so different between all 737 variants that stops compatibility of the FMC or a couple of hours at most in programming.

I think and hopefully Winwing does updates in near future for hard and Software to use all 737 inclusive the IFLY MAX 8, if not you can forget all this hipe for Winwing !!

That was all the time my headache thinking off how this normaly should work..🤔

cheers 😏
