As MSFS24 doesn't have an offline mode, what will happen if suddently the wifi stops working? And how much GB does the sim will take in about 1 hour?

What will happen is that you will return to Microsoft Flightsimulator 95 graphics wise 😀

MSI Tomahawk Z790, I7-13700K, DDR5 6000mhz, MSI 4090, 3x SSD 980 PRO, Corsair 360 Liguid CPU cooler, Corsair H1200V2 power.

Wi-Fi?. It's generally always better (mainly in online gaming like MSFS) to use a direct connection (Ethernet) with your router.

Yes I believe it continues but you lose live weather, traffic, and the scenery degrades. I think this has happened to me only once and in 2020.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

Yes in 2020 happened also to me but for msfs 2024 i think is different because it's only an online game and an offline mode with crappy terrain doesn't exist

Well, I tried it out! I launched a flight and then killed my wi-fi connection so there was no internet to my computer. The sim immediately displayed a big white block message on the right hand side that internet was lost and the game may become unstable, but it did continue to run.... for about 1 minute. Then I got a screen saying that MSFS requires a constant internet connection and the game would be paused until the connection was restored. Once I turned the wi-fi back on the game did indeed resume right where I was in active pause mode. So, I suppose the answer is no, if you lose internet you cannot play until it is restored, which kind of makes sense given the nature of the beast that 2024 is. That said, in the 198 hours I have played 2024 this has never happened but I suppose if someone has poor internet connectivity then this title may not be the best choice.

While that is true, a good WiFi connection is perfectly acceptable for 2024.

I run it via WiFi and have no issues.

Good luck on flying. Especially if the aircraft is streamed.

Why? I have to say I do not fly streamed aircraft, I only fly third-party ones that are in my community folder. But even with my relatively weak internet -- 50 Mb -- in a house with 17 wi-fi devices connected I have not experienced any real issues. For me the benefits of streaming far, far outweigh the drawbacks.

Note: I did have issues during the first two weeks after launch, but I have about 200 hours and the game has been rock solid since mid-December.

I don't know how to explain. My internet was bad for an hour last week. Flying the A330 into Madrid at the time. Textures not showing, couldn't read anything in the aircraft. Just wasn't a pleasant experience.

Yea, I experienced this too sometimes when I flew the default planes and I have seen other references to people having parts of their plane missing or fading in and out. I do think it is better to have the aircraft downloaded and not streamed, an option I think is coming with SU1.  But also just last night and today I have had blurry runways on landing, at KBUF and CYSH, something that has not happened since the first couple of weeks after release.

I believe one reason for the large size of MSFS2020 was that it did indeed have a fallback graphics mode for if your internet was unavailable. Now, however.. with MSFS2024, if you have no internet, you are simply SOL.

It's not a huge showstopper for me, but I can understand if some people resonate with the cartoon below.
