February 28, 20251 yr Author I'm getting great fps in VR mode, much better, but that may be due mainly to the new Pimax Play Drivers that came out 2 days ago. I was able to set Pimax Play Resolution to High instead of Medium. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. February 28, 20251 yr Halfway through the process my screens go black and stay there !!! Restarted and reinstalled but same result.

With DLSS, you still encounter issues with some gauges exhibiting ghosting and intermittent lockouts. For sure, not a desirable outcome in this MSFS2020/2024. Interestingly, I don't observe any of these issues in XPlane12. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

March 1, 20251 yr Author Installed from Nvidia app for me, no problems. Sure the screen went black, so I just waited about 45 seconds and then all was well. His system is 12700K, 3080Ti (12 GB, 350 watts), 64GB RAM. Thus he uses tricks for his Frame Generation because it is not native to the 3000 series.
