March 10, 20251 yr Hi Everybody, I was doing real well (performance wise) using Nvidia 572.70 drivers with the latest Gigabyte bios update and chipset upgrade... with that said... I just spent another two days reducing my Windows 11 background apps from 58 to 23 and my window processes from 90 down to 57. Hard to believe my I9-10900's (external visuals) can keep up with the 7950x3D (server/center visual) as far as stutters/flickers. Although the I9's use more memory than the 7950x3D setup. 7950x3D = CPU 10% usage - Memory 24% I9-10900 = CPU 10% usage - Memory 41% This was worth two days of trial and error! March 10, 20251 yr Author Hi, The text is almost two hundred lines of deletes, not sure I can put that up here. Maybe I can try images. WARNING: I only use these computers for flight simulation, networking and internet access for weather! If you mess with your systems registry, you do so at your own risk! Make sure you have a restore point before playing. This should now be the right link to the data. This is what was done over two days, the end result is amazing. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FXtG7YpRiKv24Ju66YsNAz1iOLQDy2Uo/view?usp=sharing Edited March 10, 20251 yr by Mike_CFII_MEL Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck

March 10, 20251 yr My advice is (running the internal build of 12.2.0 already) to not spend too much effort into eliminating stutter right now...

They are all but gone so if 12.2.0 is even better then the few I have left will be gone as well. Hi, I wanted all non used services stopped permanently, I use this for Flightsim only so my computer needs aren't going to change. I'm not sure if Lasso is capable of shutting down all of Windows 11 services, some required registry controlset changes. March 11, 20251 yr Well, win11 is a big bloatware.... I have it striped down from install ISO so it works mostly fine for me then...
