Hey folks, I read that article and with respect to the author... there is a lot of waffle and speculation there. I can see some elements where there was an attempt to come to conclusion based on some

  • I remember reading an article about the so-called "The Dead Internet Theory" which states that most of the time we're just interacting with bots, algorithms, watching AI generated videos or articles.

  • looks like someone typed "what to expect from xp12 next gen scenery" into chatgpt then pasted the result into a webpage. 😇

Then I must say I've been growing on really liking CGPT and even CP...

I've actually been learning from both.

I.e.: ask them how to understand women! Learn from AI... Our last resort on understanding some really deep stuff!!!

So I wasn't the only one thinking the same! The opening image is also 100% ChatGPT, as is the rest of the article.

Certainly! Here’s a blog-ready section with a clear title and explanatory paragraph that addresses third-party scenery compatibility concerns:

The more I see how easy people fall to AI´s tricks, the less worried I am about the human race getting replaced by it.

I wondering the samething as well. How can someone know so much detail of what LR plans are when LR haven't publish other than what is already known. I would have expected something like from this article from Ben Supnik.

Funny fact is that when seeing the thread-title I already knew that this was going to be a nothing-burger. Nevertheless I clicked on it. It looks like I am ready to be replaced by an AI 😂

…not that AI after all. I read the article. I think it’s a good summary of what to expect. Of course the date is only a guess. I expect end of 2026 (but am an AI too now, so question it please).

For me, other than being hammered by the too many popups/embedded links, it was a nice read.

I also gave a look at other links on the same Blog and I believe this is the future!

Even the upcoming versions of some flight simulators, fully coded by AI... 🤪

I just look forward to be able to share forums with really sophisticated bots.

After all, I was such a fan, still am, of the first Blade Runner 😁

jcomm is clearly a sim forum enthusiast. And in his spare time away from AVSIM, he obviously does some simming. But occasionally you get the feeling that he's almost taking over this forum. My suggestion is that jcomm spends more time flying the simulator and even more time creating original (not borrowed or AI-generated) ideas to help improve our experience.😃 Occasionally, he becomes irritating - but he does help to keep the discussions active, and that's really useful.

I remember reading an article about the so-called "The Dead Internet Theory" which states that most of the time we're just interacting with bots, algorithms, watching AI generated videos or articles. Sadly, this has accelerated a lot over the past 2 years. Every post on Twitter/X has "GROK explain this" posts underneath, when AI probably posted the article to start with. A lot of news sites, videos, forums have become unbearable now, full of AI art, generated content, etc.

Rather jcomm posting and being enthusiastic than trolls starting another MFS vs XP debate :)
