May 16, 20251 yr Moderator I'm looking for a kind soul to help me enable framerate multiplier in SU2. It's grayed out, despite having a 4090 - or is this not available for 40 series cards? I did install the 576.40 driver. Thanks in advance, Pete I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZ, CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11

May 16, 20251 yr Since SU2, there is an extra FSR option for me, set to 2x when enabled. Since I have a 3080 this is the only option. But pretty happy with it!
May 16, 20251 yr Change Frame Generation to AMD FSR3. It is literally a game changer. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

It says it in the help text when hovering (?) over that selection box. May 16, 20251 yr One thing i would be to know and whether there really is a big difference and if I'm honest I don't think so, marketing is everything.. May 16, 20251 yr Having seen what 2x can do on a 3090 I can't possibly image the need for 4x on a 5090. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

But as I don't really believe in miracles, what are the drawbacks? I tested it just during 10 minutes in VFR and I see no difference at all in term of quality. No CTD. I tried to load a flight with the Fenix and it seems to work fine too. Fps are much higher. Edited May 16, 20251 yr by sdirand

Yes, really: there is Frame Gen and there is Multi-Frame gen 😃 "At CES 2025, we’re advancing DLSS once again with the introduction of DLSS 4, featuring Multi Frame Generation for GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards and laptops; 75 games and apps will have support for Multi Frame Generation when they’re released. DLSS Multi Frame Generation generates up to three additional frames per traditionally rendered frame, working in unison with the complete suite of DLSS technologies to multiply frame rates by up to 8X over traditional brute-force rendering. This massive performance improvement on GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards unlocks stunning 4K 240 FPS fully ray-traced gaming." https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/dlss4-multi-frame-generation-ai-innovations/ AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.
